Morgan Hentz brought her A game. Love it. I didn't hear Karch's slight, that everyone is talking about. I've always heard him saying good things about Hentz, so I'm not sure what to make of this. I will pay more attention when I rewatch this match, assuming I can spare 45 minutes. Karch was asked if Hentz was "the best libero he's ever seen at the college level." That's kind of a trap question if you ask me. Maybe Sunderland should have said, "one of the best..." Yes, Karch could have come up with a more diplomatic answer, but I didn't take what he said as a slight. Thanks. That's probably why it sailed past me. Probably heard it, but did not sound like a slight. He has always praised Hentz. I've always been a Karch fan; but today, I have to agree with some of the posters: he is sounding a bit droll today, low energy, nothing exciting whatsoever.

I’m so glad that Stanford won! Loved the play by Hentz and I would love to see her on the national team one day if this is what she wants imagine her playing with Plummer again would be nice. Well the sweep I guess was expected by some. Can’t wait to see them back in the finals..
Formico though ..... 🙄🙄🙄

And glad I’m one of the 25 here who predicted a sweep. The regional finals vs Penn State made me more anxious. That wasa very good Penn State team. Happy to have joined you as one of the 12.08%'ers.

Oh good, the guy that destroyed Hodson's career is gonna do some commentary between matches You keep on saying that, but you are so far off base. Hodson's career started to go downhill due to her injuries and her mom before even coming to Stanford. Her career came to an end due to Haley and her mom while at Stanford. Her reputation started to go downhill due to the lawsuit her mom pressed to happen. The trend continues, and its sad because she is a talented girl. Unfortunately, her mom never taught her to live up to things that really existed prior and taught her to wrongly place blame. To talk crap about Dunning and say he ended a career is so off base. They just want/ed somebody to blame. Somebody except themselves. While it was all going the right direction and she was getting praise, they failed to acknowledge issues she was experiencing (prior to Stanford). Once it really became a problem, they wanted to point fingers. Dunning just happened to be the person that was there at the end to point the finger at. There were many people to point fingers at prior, including themselves. On a side note, Stanford blocking was incredible tonight. Hentz, you're a phenom. BYU had been great all season and has every reason to be proud. RJP is a beast and many of us enjoyed watching her all season.

Roni Jones-perry 2 5 7 25 -.080 Someone said this was the POY? I was so impressed with her in this tournament, but she’s having a bad night (understatement). She didn’t have trouble with Texas’ block mmm can't compare the Texas block to Stanford

The start of the after the game press conference only starts with BYU but doesn’t show Stanford (??!!?!?) and showed every other team? I’m confused I haven’t seen one press conference of Stanford. Does anyone have a link to one?

I'm stoked that Stanford was able to play at such a high level tonight. Next up : Nebraska - will be a doozy.
Congratulations to BYU on an incredible season. A lot to be proud of in Provo.

Hentz is like Brenda Castillo. You just don't come for her. PERIODT Here's how Karch could have answered: "Best of all-time at that position? Well, there's been some great liberos to come out of the NCAA, and you can definitely put her in that category as one of the best. She's still got another season left after this, and I think she could work on X and X, however" Actually, the question was "Is she one of the very best you've ever seen at the collegiate level". The answer was"Well, she could probably use more discipline;sometimes she'll do a lot more running around when you don't need to but she has an amazing amount of vision and (ball served) there's a great first contact (from Hentz, of course)…" He's obviously aware of how good she is and commented on it repeatedly- just weird to open his answer to that question- to which the answer is undoubtedly yes- with what's really a minor cavil.
