A very tan Mark Rosen delivers the latest Rosen Report. He touches on the future plans of our graduating seniors; recaps the spring match against MSU; praises the spring play of Wetterstrom, Welsh and Glavinic; and previews the summer camp schedule. Go Blue!

Heck of a SR class. But Michigan will still be very good!

Not a big surprise; Jerome Fraisse is going to get paid for his work this season. He's seemed like a great fit from Day 1.

Was watching Jacque Boney at AAUs.... she's a gem. Quick in transition, solid blocker, and a workhorse forsure

Sounds a lot like Katarina Glavinic had a great spring on the right side, which makes me think Sydney Wetterstrom could permanently join Paige Jones as the second outside hitter

Sounds a lot like Katarina Glavinic had a great spring on the right side, which makes me think Sydney Wetterstrom could permanently join Paige Jones as the second outside hitter Glavinic has already proven herself at RS as Wetterstrom's replacement last year. The Michigan pins will be just fine this season. It's the middles and back row that are the primary source of concern for this team.

I don’t think Syd is a lock, I didn’t watch her during the spring, I don’t doubt her talent but she’s very up and down mentally. Robinson should challenge for a spot. I look forward to seeing Bair’s progress, she’s our middle with the most potential IMO. Our back row is what scares me the most.

During all of the spring matches, Sydney played 6-rotations on the outside with Paige, hammer of an arm and I think those two are who Rosen want along with Katerina at OPP. i think Bair and Robinson should go middle as I think both can have huge development and Cori's all-around game just isn't the strongest. IMO. We'll see. The defense will be very scary though, i wish we could snag up a good libero freshman or transfer.

Robinson should be a four year starter

Looks like Pertofsky is going to start her college career as a middle (as opposed to OH) too. Crocker was solid when healthy in 2018, but there could be some healthy preseason competition for the middle spots among her, Shannon, Bair, Robinson, and Pertofsky. Glavinic played some middle last year too, so if Robinson makes a REALLY strong impression as an outside, she could slide back to middle if Wetterstrom becomes a full time opposite. That's a much more unlikely scenario though. In the back row, Natalie Smith figures to slide in at libero while DiSanto and Beals can both DS or be serving specialists.
