Sponcil was never committed to Fendrick for anything long-term and when Claes called her up it was her best option at the time (they were not great friends at that time). I don't think Sponcil is committed to staying with Claes necessarily for long-term (but they could make a 2024 run together). Sponcil will have options after 2020. For now, Claes is her best option (unless KWJ comes calling). Sponcil and Claes could part amicably and get back together in the future. Good source says Kerri is in no way considering switching up now or has ever thought about switching from Brooke. This source says that they will rise together or fall together according to KW. Although it appears Brooke has a knee injury of some sort. Don’t know how serious it is. Guess we’ll stay tuned to see how this tourney goes for them. Hoping for the best!! See kerris earlier comments quoted on this thread for an example of her veracity in these kinds of conversations. She may not make a switch but every match she drops due to Brooke's poor play she is thinking about it

I've said it before, but KWJ also said similar comments about her partnership with Branagh & here we are.

It looks like the FIVB chart is requiring a team to have 12 results before they can be considered "Qualified" to qualify. If you look at those two lower ranked teams, they have 13 and 12 results respectively.
The chart isn't really helpful in that regard.

Right. I think it’s just saying if the qualification period ended today, these are the teams who have earned a spot for their country. Obviously that will change, except for the teams that won world champs.

With a silver in Tokyo, ATeam surges to 7560 in Olympics ranking points. That’s 10 events in the bag so average 756 points per event.

Well, A-Team really pulling away. They lead KWJ/Sweat by over 1k, and still have 3 finishes to count towards their totatl.
They have played the same amount of tournaments as Claes/Sponcil and lead them by 2k.
In the race for 2nd, Claes/Sponcil are gaining on KWJ/Brooke in the Proj finish. Kelly/Sara need to get more finishes ahead of Brooke/KWJ Larson/Stockman aren't out yet, but are 500 points behing Kelly and Sara, with the same number of tournaments. Hughes/Summer are done, going to take them off the list, and I think Betsi/Em have conceded, with skipping Vienna.
team - events - points - AVG - Proj AVG Finsh(AVG x12) July 15 Proj AVG - Change Klineman/Ross - 10 - 7,560 - 756 - 9,072 9120 - (48) Walsh Jennings/Sweat - 13 - 6,460 - 538 - 6,460 6349 - 111 Claes/Sponcil - 10 - 5,120 - 512 - 6,144 5880 - 264 Larsen/Stockman - 10 - 4,720 - 472 - 5,664 6120 - (456) Hughes/Summer - 8 - 4,080 - 510 - 6,120 5760 - 360 Flint/Day - 7 - 3,040 - 434 - 5,211 5000 - 211
***Edited for error in KWJ/Brooke math*** thx ATP

You have a logic errror in your list. Even though Walsh/Sweat have 13 results so far, only 12 of them count and are in the actual ranking. Therefore you have to divide by 12 (and not by 13 as you did) to get the correct average points and based on that the correct pojected finish.
