WTF won’t count as an event right. That is what I thought too. No, I don't believe so. That was more a statement of how few "big" opportunities there are out there between now and the end of 2020 qualifying to either qualify or make big checks.

The Wildcards are still missing in the Entry list by the way. So one Australian and one international team will get a Wildcard. Maybe Patterson/Budinger as the team with the most points not in the Main Draw?

In the event section, there is no mention of the CQ on site.
I remember last year, they listed the CQ until the matches were held. Seems like the same.
I can't see one reason/side who wants the CQ on site.

What is to keep these guys from playing a CQ here in the states? Do they get points for playing CQ? Can USAV step in and do something? I just don’t know the answers and wonder why they have to travel half way around the world to play a game against their neighbor. This question goes for all CQ’s not just this one

This question goes for all CQ’s not just this one It's no problem to play the CQ upfront in the home country. European teams do it all the time. So the FIVB allows it, it's just a matter of the national federation.

Well, it's not like that a team gets to choose a tournament for their Wild Card. A team has to apply and if it gets lucky it receives the Wild Card. There's no guarantee that e.g. Patterson/Budinger will get a Wild Card for a 4* or 5* tournament later this season.
