Throwing this out there to the VT Community. What are your favorite consequences to give the team for losing a drill? Conversely, what are your favorite rewards to give the team for winning a drill?
Thanks

Losers have to be winners' butlers.

Losers get benched for the next match...that will motivate them. Haha, kidding. Although I did remember losers in one team being forced to dressed as clowns and parade themselves around the gym. I don't think that will be allowed these days, but back in my days...

Lose and get bounced for someone else who is winning... (And the losers have to dress in costume like the fruit of the loom characters)

Although back in my days, things were even more..how should I say...borderline...you can't get away with the things the coach made the losers do today. Parading in a clown dress and all that, public humiliation for the losers. Not sure if the touchy-feely snowflake generation will stand for that.

I thought I remembered Carl McGown talking at a coaching clinic about how he studied this guys methods. www.goldmedalsquared.com/blog/the-competitive-cauldron/

Thanks My favorite is when coaching the kids where winning IS the reward, and losing is the punishment. Competitive kids > Pavlovian conditioning
