So far, no rain and weather appears to be improving. Here are the results for the men's first round:
Satterfield/Burik over Vaught/Sauter 17-21, 22-20, 16-14
Priddy/Brunner over Webber/Honer 21-18, 21-17
Kolinske/Evans over Brewster/Brock 212-11, 21-12
Loomis/Field over Mewhirter/Beranek 21-18, 22-24, 15-9
I watched the Loomis/Field match. Field has upped his game. Blocking better and cutting down on mistakes. Loomis still playing really well with his all around game.

Great to hear about Field, hopefully someone posts this match, knew it would be entertaining.

Chasey wins 15-12. Chase with two aces late against Theo that was the difference.

Reid and Theo really snatched that one from the jaws of victory. 20-17 for the match in Game 2 plus maybe 4 more match points. Casey/Chase miss 4 or 5 serves in a game to 15 and they lose it 15-11? This was a walkover but Reid's teams continue to have these end of game/match issues
I thought Chase played really well in the 3rd. Having no problem with Theo's block.

I only saw end of 2nd and 3rd, but every transition ball Reid had he hit a soft shot right at Casey. You’d never guess he’s one of the hardest hitters on the beach.

Having no problem with Theo's block. about half way through the 2nd set, Chase steadied out. Reid and Theo def. choked away the 2nd set/match. Reid didn't do much behind the block.
