Women's semis Day/Flint def Quiggle/Dowdy, 21-18, 23-21 Fonoimoana/Martin def Wopat/Hochevar, 21-16, 21-14 Final Day/Flint def Fonoimoana/Martin, 21-12, 22-20 Third Quiggle/Dowdy def Wopat/Hochevar, 21-12, 21-16 Thanks for posting these. Some surprises for sure. Woho losing to both Fonoi/Martin and Quiggle/Dowdy tells me its going to be a rough year for WoHo. Dowdy, such an under-rated player..

They didn't play freeze to my knowledge but his locking up or playing it safe in final stretch is horrible trend. well, not sure how much that played into Theo sending one miles out of bounds when trying to side out to win the 2nd set. Yes, I saw that atrocious swing. Deplorable for a pro in that situation.

JB, 84-58 really not competitive, fwiw.. good point.. No, its not competitive. Wopat maybe should just be playing the %*$# out of CBVAs and AVPNext tournaments. getting in more than 2 matches at most a tournament. I don't know why I keep thinking it should be easier for indoor players to transition, not sure why so many used to make the move much easier.

Just watched Reid's entire 3rd set, Chasey missed what 5 serves? Reid hit 2 jumpers out, played tentatively offensively, half swings, weak shots right to Casey. All that practice to play like crap when it matters? Take a week off boys, you won't miss the training.

And how weak of Gibb to not enter this, even if you don't need points, you're down the street, play. Jake probably doesn’t need to pay an entry fee to play 3 matches with a weird ball he’ll never play with. I also think people misinterpret these qualifiers. USA seems to run them as a formality not as an event. They aren’t looking to advertise and build bleachers for fans. They get a cheap weekday permit and get it over as soon as possible.

So unlike the men, five of the top six women’s teams all think they can finish in the top three and so they’re not even bothering to play NORCECA? Does Sponcil have UCLA playing duties? UCLA is taking final exams this week.

Anyone find any men's matches online aside from Reid's? That NY Varsity Sports guy didn't attend apparently, no matches posted.
