Just a heads up, there are teams from Milwaukee that will be competitive in each age group. If that MVC 17s team is healthy for the first time since Chicago, and I think they are, they are a wild card to win for sure. Milwaukee 14, 15 and 18 are all very solid and should do well. The 16s team is Milwaukee Sting, not MVC, and have recently beaten teams they lost to earlier in the year to win the Badger Region title and a subsequent tournament. AES has them ranked 12th overall. Don't know if they, or anyone, can beat 352 but they should compete with any other team there. That was Sting 16 Lightning. This is Sting 16 Adidas. Still a good team. But 4th at badger region and 33 on AES

My notes from Day 1 for 18s, ECVC looked dominate in their pool with a lot of competitive teams behind them, pretty sure MVC ending up moving on after a tiebreak. Holy %*$# can James Hartley play, CUVC will go as far as James can take them. TVP looks either very good or very bad, they pushed CUVC to 24-26 in one, but also lost one 25-12 to Niagara so they are a wild card. Orlando Gold and Sixpack both look very good and are well rounded talented teams. Pace runs an offense like no bodies business and that lead them to take that pool. Trouble in paradise at ACAD led to a very weird line up for this tournament, but hey when you beat MVP academy and move on you are still doing pretty okay. MVP academy is a very good team, but struggled to cover their hitters and had some issues passing from what I saw.
I will post another summary for today once I see all the top teams go at it again. Pool 1: Pace, ECVC, Sixpack, TVP Pool 2: Orlando Gold, CUVC, MVC, ACAD

Question:
There are 3 bids given out but the can only trickle down to 6th (so I’ve heard). If three teams without bids make it to the gold bracket of 8 and lose in the first round and tie for 5th but the top 4 and one of the other first round losers have bids already. Will they give out the three bids to the three teams tied for 5th or will there need to be a playoff for the “5th” and “6th” place between the three teams.

In your scenario, there are only two bids available for 3 teams b/c of trickle down, so it's going to a bid playoff.

Then all three teams would get bid? Since they would get one of the bids for finishing top 4 and then the two other teams who tied for 5th would get the bid because the other two teams tied for 5th have one already

No playoffs. (weasel word only out of a weird feeling one of those teams might be yours, if so, check with the TD to verify, I know my stuff, but... Random dude on the 'net should not be relied upon for your own kids fate).

Nice. 😎 Vaqueros (as expected) and PACE have theirs by "merely" making gold. The winner of a silver first round match will get the third bid: Maverick or BRYC.

If so, then any teams who make gold in the 17’s tomorrow will get a bid. If not, things will get interesting.

I don’t if Sixpack has any D1 committed, but they beat TVP in 2 and TVP out out of gold.
