also it’s easier to figure out the qualifier matchups if you start the qualifier seeds at 1

This qualifier needs to be streamed, any serious player should be streaming their matches for we fans. McK's without question.

I know they are capping the number of qualifier teams. Does anyone know how many they are letting in? I had heard 48 but I don’t know that for certain. If so, that would mean a few real players, including the Partain brothers, wouldn’t even get into the quali. Crazy.

I wonder if the Partain bros would get a Q WC?

very surprised AVP hasn't said anything about a Q cap for NYC yet. But I would assume if austin was capped at 48, NYC would be as well

This would be a travesty for two kids that we will be watching for many years to come, get rid of whatever crap weekend warriors that are taking advantage of a tourney in their home town tourneys and not grinding for points and give us the high schoolers that could probably take down some guys that want this to be full time for them.

Last year I remember Andrei Belov (who still plays a little bit and is still good) signed up with a 7’1” indoor guy for NYC quali and, luckily for some top team, they didn’t get in due to points.
Not sure what the AVP’s stance is on qualifier WC’s but i haven’t see those done before. Have they done them?

Lots of east coast guys on the qualifier list. If any upsets surprise I may be able to provide some insight Did you play with Chris Bock at Stevenson? No crossover. I was there from 2012-16

Yes, those weekend warriors who lose opening round 11 and 12 and tell everyone they're pros, those winners.
