Just an FYI... I wouldn't read anything into listed spike or block touch numbers. They are just numbers on a form and probably aren't based on any sort of up-to-date testing. Are those numbers kept/updated on any domestic sites? If so, where? I noticed that certain players' numbers have increased over the years. Thanks.

Is Ognjenovic still playing for Serbia? I’m hoping she is! Because Serbia’s starting setter, Mirkovic, isn’t going to lead this Serbian team to a gold medal in Tokyo. No offense but she’s not good.

Which brings to mind one thing, does she have the fitness and form to make it to Tokyo...

Serbia was a hot mess. What I don’t get is why we don’t see Zivkovic or Antonijevic (Fenerbahce) at least on the 25 player roster? Mirkovic and Atanasijevic are significantly more inferior than Ziv and Anton. I mean training younger talent is important but I feel like he has skipped a lot of mid level players IMO. Milenkovic, Busa and Malesevic should all be getting more playing time. I honestly don’t think Serbia will even make the top 6 in this tournament. I think Poland, Italy and the Dominican Republic are all going to have better tournaments than in 2018. Brazil, Serbia and the Netherlands are all going to have to tread carefully. I see Turkey, USA and Italy making the finals along with China (Hosts). Russia is on its 3rd coach in the past 4 years and is finally really attempting to develop new talent as their vets all age out. This next week will be interesting. I see USA and Italy vying for the top of the pool. I think the Dom Rep will beat Serbia. Actually I see Serbia being winless this week. Their roster is very weak. Their strongest lineup they can put up this week is Mirkovic, Busa, Blagojevic, Bjelica, Pusic, Mi. Popovic and Aleksic. Not too scary.

I heard multiple rumors about Antonijevic and Terzic having a bad relationship with one another. A problem that stems from years past. It didn't matter when she joined Fenerbahce because that stayed at a club level. Zivkovic is just taking this competition to rest, she will still be Ognjenovic's substitute. Serbia definitely won't make it to the final round and I think Terzic doesn't care. Netherlands and Russia are still competing without their main players so that'll affect them in the long run. My guess is that it'll be China(hosts), Italy, USA, Turkey, Poland, Brazil.

Serbia's B and C team could be stronger as they have a couple of "older” players that are stronger than their younger players.
But what's the point of having them there when the starters are untouchable??? Is better to give the opportunity for the younger players to gain experience...just like having a 17 year old as backup libero...Terzic always introduce the senior team to the young players with the most potential that are still playing in the Serbian League.
Another thing. From what I understand Serbia does not even has a actual training facility, which means they can't have a lot of players practicing together during the summer like USA does for example.
They prepared for the WCH at some resort in Serbia, I think only 16 players were part of the camp, as they don't have budget to invite more players.

I think this match is scheduled for the Olympics channel on 5/29. Not sure of the time, maybe 5pm. Yeah, you're right. 5pm PDT, 8pm EDT according to TV Guide.
