I think Rettke will most likely be a good choice for 2024. Too many MB ahead of her at this point.

Lake I want tapp to make it so badly lmao but you are right in her place in the depth chart. Maybe ahead of Adams Bc she has made some A team rosters this year and Adams has not

I think it's still too early to see if Rettke will be cut. That 3rd, and probably 2nd MB spot is still wide open. Heck even we know with Ogbogu's history even the 1st MB spot isn't assured just yet.

But IMO, Tapp is 6th in actual order for the current crop behind Rettke and slightly above Adams. Speaking of Tapp, Annie just confirmed in her IG stories that Tapp will be playing in Japan too. However, she hasn't really left their house yet and Japan league is 3 weeks in.

Honestly, with the limited time she's played during World Cup and NORCECA, I noticed her read block's a bit slow compared to the other middles. Her slide is good but there's nothing there when it comes to A's.

I'm. It sure how Larson is the top voted for OH over Robinson. Clearly too many "I know the nt team members but don't ever watch them play" posters here. Robison is better in then back and front court in their last nt season. Smh.

Robison is better in then back and front court in their last nt season. Smh. There are votes for Plummer, Wilhite-Parsons, Kingdon-Rishel and Simone Lee. Not many, I'll grant you. But, some. I am not sure what inspired those votes, but I wouldn't take the differences in vote totals too seriously between Larson and other OHs. But, Larson will be on the team barring injury. Maybe not the most explosive attacker anymore, and Robinson was much better than any other OHs this summer. But, Larson brings so many other intangibles to the table and is the captain. She was an easy one to vote for, spelling error in her name on the poll aside.

Robinson was given awards at the ceremony for he received performance. She also did better in vnls. Like her numbers were better. It was also visible to anyone watching. She's the best passer and defender on the team. Certainly better offensively than Larson.

Larson has passed the peak of her prime no doubt, but she is still a better, and especially, more consistent player in every aspect of the game. Larson didn't really much this summer relative to Robinson, so relying on stats isn't the best idea. If you actually watched them play, you might understand the reasons better.

I aged watched them play. I watched Robinson pass and play defense better than Larson. I also watched her attack better than Larson. Larson can out of system set and serve better. I'd rather have a better passing and attacking OH than setting and serving. I'm not saying Larson isn't good, but Robison outperformed every OH this summer, which one would know if they watched

But you're confusing volleyball EQ with IQ.
