Without looking at a map (of course) what are the 7 countries that border Ukraine?
We'll leave Crimea out of this. Too confusing.

Not Lithuania. So 3 small countries no one cares about?

I get a lot of the Eastern European countries confused. I think either Slovenia or Slovakia borders Ukraine, but I can't even tell you the difference between Slovakia and Slovenia and whether either is even a country.
And is Georgia considered a country or just a region in Russia?

Slovakia is correct. Slovenia is a country, but does not border Ukraine.
Georgia is a country, too. Does not border Ukraine.
Still need 2 and one of them isn't all that small.

For the record:
The USSR consisted of the following present-day countries: Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan.

Belarus is correct.
Never heard of the 2nd guess, if serious. It's incorrect regardless.
Ah. It's another name for Belarus.

Not Latvia. Nor Estonia. They're all up there with Lithuania, above Belarus.

I got this one wrong. I knew Colombia was wrong, but picked it anyhow. You'd think my 3rd grade (or whenever it was) report on Ecuador would have stuck. I was tempted to go with Ecuador, but didn't. I'm not sure it ever really jumped out at me that almost all of the countries border on Brazil. Pretty sure I knew that only two countries were landlocked. Bolivia and Paraguay are the only two landlocked countries in South America. Not that you asked but I thought I'd chime in anyways. I forget the countries to the east of Venezuela and to Brazil's north.

Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana. You never hear about them, except T&T.
