Cassie Davis signed last week and will enroll at Baylor in January. I don’t know of any other changes at the time. Not questioning his recruiting strategy because obviously he’s done a great job at building a phenomenal program but it seems like he tends to recruit them very early on. And a few (setters and pins) are more on the smaller side.

Those shorter setters/outsides could be coming in as a DS. Kennedy Feurborn, a 6’3 setter, was supposed to be on the roster this fall but she didn’t make it out of the summer session.

Elise McGhee, 6’3 MB/OPP is also committed to Baylor in the class of 2021. She’s the younger sister of Kara. That’s 7 commits in that class.

Just rewatched the Kstate match, and I’m just not impressed with KJ Johnson. I’m hoping baylor can get a solid 6 row transfer as they have they last several years.

I didn’t watch the game but a 5-1-9 (.444) hitting line is a lot better than what Milana has been providing. Baylor will be in much more need of a transfer middle next season

She’s a freshman who has had very very little prime time playing time. She has room to grow. It’s not her efficiency. It’s her arm swing in general. She came early in the Spring and her swing is still just awkward and inconsistent. It’s still D1 volleyball - a freshmen should have decent mechanics.

Only school in the nation to have all sports currently ranked in the top 20. Pretty good for a smaller Baptist school in Waco, TX

Over the past few weeks, I've been trying to figure out why Pressley's hitting efficiency has dropped fairly significantly from OOC to conference, especially because most Big12 teams are not as good as their OOC opponents. I've rewatched several matches from the beginning of the season and have noticed Pressley hasn't been mixing up her shots nearly as much. It seems the last several matches have mostly been Pressley going back to her all or nothing power shots. At the beginning of the season, she used far more roll shots and deep tips down the line intermixed with her all out swings, heavily helping her efficiency. I don't think the efficiency has gone down because teams have been keying on her more because teams always key on her. I mention this because I hope BU wins a natty champ and they will need Pressley to be dynamic if thats going to happen. Super excited for the matches this weekend.
Just go watch the Wisconsin match highlight and you'll see several shots that earned her points that she has not used nearly as much recently.
