Her serve is so damn beautiful. It is valuable. 0 aces against Scandicci....and she never caused them any troubles or put them out of system. But I do agree with you her service can be more valuable than Carlini for the backup spot in Tokyo. I didn't say that. It's NO secret you don't like Carlini. The race for who goes to Tokyo is still on. I think Carlini and Poulter are winning that race at the moment.

Caserta (Alhassan) won against Monza. Poulter’s team also won. Foecke’s team lost badly. She’s still the worst receiver for the last 2 matches. Novara won in 5. Rome wasn't built in a day. Give Foecke time to grow into the international game.

Anyone who thinks Hill is inconsistent in reception in the Italian league is not spending any time watching the matches. Last year she was rated the best all around OH in league and is considered one of the top receivers in Italy. She has already signaled that her heart is in club and not the NT as her connection with Karch is like trying to hit with a bad setter. What do you mean she already signaled her heart is not with the NT. Based on what?
Wait I thought that Karch was one of Hill's biggest supporters, even back to her beach days.

My favorite teams are Firenze because of Emily Maglio, and Bergamo because of Annie Mitchem. I like them so much I was willing to pay the $7.88 per month to watch the Italian stream. I don't often do that. I am thinking about paying the site, but how many times they'll olay in a month? 2-3x only?

Hill is probably the only players now in NT when karch started as HC of NT. Not sure if robinson was also her batch mate? But yeah. Even though her performance with NT this summer wasn't that great? I think and i believe she'll bounce back comes olympic.

Italian Super Cup on now. It's the first early season Italian trophy and pits last years one and two teams against each other. It's being played today in Milan's 12k seating arena in preparation for hosting the CL championship later in the year. www.freeintertv.com/view/id-2785This year it's Imoco vs Novara. Imoco starting Hill, Sylla, Robin, Folie, Egonu, DeGennaro and Woloz. Chiaka has not been able to break into the starting lineup yet.

Hancock with two straight aces on Degennaro. Novara is mostly new players so still jelling. With there starting OP injured Hancock has become the master of setting to her middles. Chiricella and the Serbian NT starter Veljcovic have been putting up big high percentage numbers. The Hooker era Serbian OP, Brakeoevic is just returning from injury.

Imoco is favored to win all three Italian trophy's this year as well as the CL Cup. They are probably favored to win the upcoming CWC against one of the strongest lineup's ever including the near complete Chinese NT and Hooker for Tinjuan. The advantage for Imoco is they are returning their complete team adding only Egonu, Chiaka, and Geerties so their chemistry is already at a high level.

Folie and Woloz might be the best MB attack combo currently playing. I'm not sure if Chiaka will get off the bench much this season. She probably should have transferred to a less strong team.

With Imoco and Woloz Egonu ready to establish herself as the world #1 attacker on the best pro team. The CWC's will have old school OP's Hooker, Faucette, and Brakocevic and new generation, Bosko, Egonu, and Haak. Great battles coming in December.

Egonu who has a reputation for being a bit of a prima donna seems to have quickly integrated herself into Imoco team culture which is led by their setter Woloz. What Italy wouldn't give to have Woloz set the Italian NT. She is clearly the best setter in the world right now.

She won’t beat out Folie, but De Krujif hasn’t been playing that well, even today. That’s where she would have to work her way into the lineup.

Wilhite definitely upgraded moving to Brazil with Bauru. Jury is still out on Lee in Japan. All the clips I have seen so far of he she is struggling to pass even more than she has in the past. She is definitely the service target by most teams. Hopefully this will help her improve but if not I could see her being moved to the right side where she won't develop her passing at all.....which isn't good if she hopes to have a future with the NT.

What Italy wouldn't give to have Woloz set the Italian NT. She is clearly the best setter in the world right now. As usual, Hill is a no show in a big match. Hill received only 8 balls, and still struggled offensively 5/19 (26%). Sylla did only a bit better offensively 7/20 (35%), but she received 27 balls. Hill is super inconsistent, and she never plays well under pressure and when it matters. She only does well in regular season games. So....when she does not play well in Tokyo.....there`s no need to blame Karch or anyone else.... as u can see Hill can`t deliver with Conegliano either.
