aardvark This is based off of RPI futures, which puts North Carolina much ahead of Boston College and GT. (BEfore tonight GT didn't have anything of note on it's resume, and trojan can't update this minute by minute). UNC is the only of the four with a top 50 strength of schedule, which is why they will be ahead of the other squads in RPI despite losing more matches. Record isn't everything, Boston College hasn't played many teams of note. UNC and BC will play on Sunday though, so we'll see who takes the pole position in the race for ACC bubble squad. I don't even know if Boston College won all of their remaining matches if they'd get into the tournament. It's extreme to think an 18-2 ACC team wouldn't make the tournament, but when you look at their horrid strength of schedule and how easy their ACC schedule is, it makes sense. They only got Pitt, Louisville, ND, Florida State once. I really like Boston College too. I've started a number of threads on their matches and I love what Jason Kennedy is doing. But, they're just not realistically going to be an NCAA-Tournament team.

Relatedly, Miami lost tonight so you can probably take them off your teams to watch by next update.
