Amazing to me that correcting someone who says something blatantly false is labeled as attacking that poster.
Also yes it is a discussion board. So if you try to push a rumor, expect a response.

Is it just me or are posters just real cranky on VT lately? Btw, Hooker vs Larson, who do you want to prevail?

Regardless of the team or country you play for as an American, the minute the match is over the Americans immediately go over to talk to each other, even if you don’t know each other. It’s just great to speak English and talk to someone that understands your struggles being the only or one of a few Americans on the team. It is way more difficult than you can imagine.

In case anyone is interested to know, the finals is a best of 5 series with either team needing to win 3 matches to claim the championship.
The date for the matches, if I am not mistaken, are as follows:
Jan 7th Jan 11th Jan 14th Jan 18th (if required) Jan 21st (if required)

Shanghai needs Lippmann! Although Larson did a superb job in the semifinal game 3 the other day.

If there is game 4 and 5. Speaking of which, what do you think, will there be a game 4 and 5? Or will Tianjin close out Shanghai in 3? Or maybe Shanghai can take care of Tianjin in 3?

Shanghai may have better ball control, but they also have a smaller block which Tianjin will take advantage of. I think Tianjin will win the series 3-1 and Zhu Ting gets her first Chinese Volleyball League MVP.

She will be reunited with Foluke and help push her to make that final Olympics together. It's sad to think that in a little over 7 months....we may never see them again in a USA jersey. I'm not ready ya'll....they have been with us for so long!

Shanghai lost pretty badly to Tianjin. They lost in straight sets and they did not get past 18 points in any of them...
