It doesn't make any sense for Chase to play right now. I know there's no run for anything meaningful but he would risk losing points playing with Chaim considering he's already played 10 this year. It just makes more sense, maybe even financially as well, for him to wait until Chaim has points and they start with better seeding.

In terms of getting into events probably, financially maybe, in terms of improving as a team and as a beach volleyball player, which Chase needs to do a lot, it's a bad choice. He's 25 or so events into his career, the competition would help. Also, and I know most bvb players don't consider this at all, fans want to see him play

Chase is currently ranked 75th in entry points, so let’s not pretend he’s got Phil or Jake level points to lose here. And if he wants Chaim to get points, having him play with an inferior partner is probably not the best way to do it. Also, finances should not be an issue for someone who earned $18 million in the NBA.

Like Chase is anything like the average beach player from financial aspect.

After practice with the guys at the beach he usually gets on his yacht and drives back to his villa in Malibu.

Who knows what he is doing, it is not like he is just hanging in the house watching tv - the guy is still a professional athlete and knows what needs to be done to compete at a certain level in many different facets.

So $18M isn't enough for you to understand how disparate his life is compared to the average player? Man are you clueless.

Casebeer and Rosie confirmed for 2020. Big step back for Jeremy and will halt his upward trajectory.

Casebeer and Rosie confirmed for 2020. Big step back for Jeremy and will halt his upward trajectory. Perhaps, although Rosie’s partners do always seem to improve after playing with him. Reid still seems to be the odd man out.

I thought Casebeer was with Priddy? Is Reid going with Doherty?

Casebeer and Rosie confirmed for 2020. Big step back for Jeremy and will halt his upward trajectory. They'll be fun to watch, but I thought it was interesting VB mag mentioned neither have expressed interest in playing overseas. That has been well documented with Rosie, but I thought quite the opposite for Casebeer..
