Does anyone think the top 4 could go:
1 Baylor 2 Stanford 3 Pittsburgh 4 Texas

So we had two bid stealers this year? St. John’s and Illinois State? And possible Denver.

And Washington State? I don't think they are in w/o winning last night. I think 'Bid Stealers' are usually meant as teams that would definitely not get an at large, winning their conference tournament, beating a team who will. St. John's stole a bid for the Big East. Illinois State stole a bid for the MVC. Denver might've stolen a bid for the Summit.

I suppose a team from a conference without a "conference tournament" could technically be a "bid stealer" if they won their conference AQ (by finishing atop the conference standings) despite having an RPI/resume that wouldn't warrant an at-large bid, but another conference team (that finished lower in the conference standings) did get an at-large. But I'm not sure that situation happens all that often. Maybe with the Ivies?

Four before the last 4 in: Wright State, Washington State, California, Northern Iowa Last 4 in: Iowa State, Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina First 4 out: South Dakota, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Virginia Commonwealth Next 4 out: Pepperdine, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, [/div][/quote] For what it's worth, my Strength of Record rankings have Wright State and Northern Iowa out, South Dakota and Arizona State in.

No bad losses. Beat Notre Dame @notre Dame. They also had the longest winning streak in the nation at one point (15/16 in a row- can't remember exact number). They earned at large.

Illinois? I realize they beat Marquette and Purdue, but finish 6-4 in last 10 with a loss at Northwestern and nothing else stands out on their resume except the conference they play in...13 losses. Should not be in.

PAC-12 finalizes. WSU moves up to 49 in FigStats with UW win. UW down to 9 with loss. Cal 48 and ASU 57....

If Kentucky is the 6 seed I'll never post here again. That would be a complete joke and insult to teams that don't actually lose matches they shouldn't lose. I get the whole quality wins blah blah, but at some point not losing matters too. Kentucky lost to Utah, Creighton, Indiana (at home!), Purdue (at home!), Georgia (at home!), Texas A&M (at home!). I'm sorry, but that's the profile of a 9-10-11 seed, not a 6. But because #Kentucky I'm almost positive they'll be 8 or 9.
