i guess they decided to skip the 1st 3 matches My guess is they're doing the 5s & 4s, then 3s & 2s, then the 1s at the end. Or they're doing 5s, 4s, and exhibition, then 1s, 2s & 3s.

Dang, that was a close one! The 4s lost in 3 sets, but each team scored the same amount of points. That ended up being the decider. I believe UT plays HCU tomorrow too.
Hawaii next. I don't expect a win, but since the indoor-only beach team played them twice last year, it'll be interesting to see how this hybrid team of indoor/beach players does. (But maybe the gap is still too large between the teams to see improvements.)

Heyyy! I couldn't check on the scores live, but I just saw Texas won 2 matches against Hawaii. That's pretty good to me. Aside from the very first game of the season, this team has been competitive.

Ayyyy Texas wins 3-2 by the CLOSEST of margins. I hope we can get more games televised in the future. I'm sure the logistics are tough, but I think the dual setup is so exciting. (The NCAA beach tournament was one of my favorite things to watch last year.)
Also, I am living for Ayden doing well at the 3s. I'm glad she came to Texas!
