NPJ (don't know anything about them), City, Milwaukee Sting, and 1st Alliance go 3-0 in the first day of pool play at WCQ. NPJ is a team from Salem, Oregon. Their setter, Alexis Haury, signed with Washington. Many in their roster have also signed with good teams like Oregon, Arizona State etc.

Looks like a lot of upsets in KC and Chicago. Especially in Chicago. Looks like 1st Alliance is the only top pool seed to make it out of their pool in first place. All 3 top seeds lose the 1st match of the day to start day 2 @ Windy City

MN Select 18-1 also went undefeated on day 2 @ KC. They're in one of the gold pools tomorrow. Winning their pool will put them into the bid championship.

Wait, so ToT canceled due to weather, but Windy City has no issues. OK.

No need for "allegedly." It happened. Wasn't there an actual ice storm a few years back and the show went on? I was surprised to hear this was cancelled.

The capacity and experience Chicago, and any other northern/midwestern area for that matter, has to handle winter weather road conditions is on a completely different level than Dallas-Fort Worth. Not surprised they canceled it at all. Wished they would’ve done it the day before so people could’ve traveled home before the weather came. Road conditions were terrible.

Yes other states prepare for weather and DFW does not. What area are you traveling? Everything I've seen posted on local pages or driven myself has been clear. No ice at all just a light snow cover. Not saying that they were wrong for canceling, just surprised based on non cancellations in far worse conditions
