N'Gapeth leaving Ma'a and Halkbank to go to Indonesia?
That Halkbank team will not be favorites in the Turkish league this year.
Ziraaat and Galatasaray are looking pretty formidable, but both are only in the CEV Cup.

Kooy and the younger Lagumdzija.
They also have Sotola on the right. It progress into a good team, but they are not as strong as the others on paper.

It took 5 sets, but Kazan opened the league season with a win over Belogorie.
Kazan did not start Mikhailov, Deroo, or Fedorov, though they ended up finishing the match.
Christenson and Kazan beat Dynamo Moscow earlier in the week for the Super Cup.

We've also already had 6 Plusliga matches.
Zawiercie 2-3 Lublin (No Russell, Bieniek, or Leon) Warszawa 3-0 Zaksa (Kurek went down with injury in the first set) Cuprum Gorzow 3-2 Gdansk Lwow 1-3 JSW (Vicentin found another team to just sit on the bench?) Olszyn 1-3 Skra Katowice 0-3 Bedzin

Quinn Isaacson lost his Polish debut.
Norwid Czestochowa 1 - 3 Slepsk Suwalki (good showings from Filipiak and Halaba, Ebadipour and Indra very inefficient)

I'm going to be really interested to see how Isaacson and Tuaniga do this season from a next-up-for-USA perspective. Don't sleep on Ma'a... he has been getting better every year I kind of loop him into the present of USAV. Not sure if it's ultimately the most correct thing to do, but making an OG roster puts him there for me. For me it's less a question of talent and more a question of desire with Ma'a; this is NOT a critique. If he wanted to hang up the USA jersey and make a living through club-only plus whatever Out of System puts together, I wouldn't be surprised nor upset. I try to be as pro-individual as possible. Is he on record of what comes next for him?

If the USA changes their Head Coach , you will see some veterans return. It seems the right time for a change. This would be absolutely silly for TJ to switch to the beach. The money pool is weak and entering his prime he can easily make 3 x $$ in indoor . In my opinion, this Head Coach for Germany, would be an excellent fit for the USA program. His demeanor and decision making aptitude was impressive this summer. I would bring him in for an interview in a heartbeat. John has worked hard and given everything to the program for 3 quads. Time for a change and everyone knows this. This post may catch people off guard because I’ve been a borderline Speraw “Stan” . I’m grateful for his time and dedication in the development of the team and two amazing medals . Hopefully USA VB finds a good one.
