She played tonight like she was carrying both Wag's and Amber's purse! It has to be the most kills by a wahine since Brooke? Maybe even Maglio when she went off against poly I think it was?

Last season was a case of losing matches that Hawaii statistically won. Granted it was just one match, but I have no idea how Hawaii just pulled off that win.
This team could have something this year. It was very reminiscent of the 5 set win against Texas to start 1995.

Tunnel talk.....they lucky Rob chilled out and don't have her teams practice after a match loss like that first season as HC. Hahahaha Girl I’m telling you tunnel talk work Robyn did coach a good match Made the adjustments when she needed too Oh I agree tunnel talk indeed works! I just remember her tunnel talks in her first season and felt so bad for the girls that she made them practice directly after a loss. Rob has def mellowed out big time haha

Hawaii's serving was also pretty tough as they were consistently bombing area 5 and pushing those SMU hitters way back. GO BOWS! Hawaii's serve was the underrated hero here. They had a lot of serving errors but really brought it after the first set, repeatedly putting SMU off the net. SMU really only has one solid passer and they were able to take advantage. I didn't expect us to win the serve-pass battle but I really under-estimated Leyva, who was passing dimes in the middle of the match when they tried to target her.

If Robyn does not sure up the Opposite position, Caylen Alexander will have to do what she did tonight, every match, if the Wahine want to win. That is a Very Big Ask.
On another note, coming in early and being able to practice in the Spring really helped Victoria Leyva. She played more like a veteran, then a Freshman. Tali Hakas needs to understand this, stay in Hawaii, if she wants to improve at all.

Yes, I think it's the most since Amber's performance maybe in 2022? But nearing 30, I think the last was either Mags or McKenna Granato.

Hahahaha Girl I’m telling you tunnel talk work Robyn did coach a good match Made the adjustments when she needed too Robyn did coach very well. What she lacks as far as imparting clean skills to her players, she makes up for it with some great in-game instincts and a penchant for switching it up and squeezing the most of what she has.

IMO smu setting needed work
If it wasn’t for the new rule, she would of been called for quite a few doubles
Her reminds me of a certain LBSU setter…
