Anybody know the latest on Bowling Green's JUCO transfer Marija Tabak's status? From what I've read, she hasn't had much time on the court of late.

Kitten called both matches correctly Thursday and has now hit the MAC jackpot on 13 of his last 14 matches. 6 MACtion matches scheduled for Friday with the most significant being played in Mount Pleasant, Michigan where Central Michigan (7-2) battles league leading Buffalo (8-2). Kitten considers this match a near toss-up. Western Michigan is beginning to climb the standings and appear now to have an excellent chance of making the 6-team MAC tournament. Other teams that are fighting to make an appearance are Ball State (5-4), Ohio (5-4) and Eastern Michigan (6-3). CMU, UB, Bowling Green and CMU are almost certain to be in the tournament. Below are Kitten’s picks for Friday.
Bowling Green over Kent State 3-0 Central Michigan over Buffalo 3-2 Western Michigan over Akron 3-1 Toledo over Miami 3-0 Ball State over Northern Illinois 3-1 Ohio over Eastern Michigan 3-2

Ohio is likely going miss this year and it’s a shame. They’re good.

The 6 team MAC tournament is starting to take shape with all signs pointing to league leading Bowling Green (11-2) being in the drivers seat for hosting the tournament. The Falcons have a very favorable schedule with only 5 matches remaining. The race for 2nd place is extremely tight with Central Michigan currently there at 10-3 followed by Buffalo at 10-4. Hard charging Ball State and Western Michigan are in a dead heat for 4th at 9-4 and Toledo has taken a hard fall to 6th after dropping two straight home matches to the defending champion Broncos. Only other team Kitten considers having a chance to qualify is Ohio (6-5) thanks to the Bobcats huge upset victory over CMU knocking the Chips out of a 1st place tie with BG. Eastern Michigan is falling like a knife through soft better after being blasted by Ball State this past weekend. The Eagles (6-5) were swept twice by the Cardinals who have had great success since switching to a 6-2 offense. It will be a fight to the finish and Kitten can guarantee BG, CMU, BSU, and WMU will be in the tournament. The 2 remaining spots will be determined the final 5 matches by Buffalo, Toledo and Ohio.

Kitten enters tonight’s round of 4 MACtion matches correctly picking 29 of the previous 34 MAC matches and expects to go 4 for 4 tonight. Bowling Green sits in a very favorable position to host the MAC tournament as on paper the Falcons should prevail in their final 5 matches and become MAC champions. Central Michigan, Buffalo, Ball State and Western Michigan are all in a dogfight for the 2nd seed and 1st round bye in the 6-team MAC tournament. Below are Kitten’s predictions for Election Tuesday.
Western Michigan over Northern Illinois 3-0 Central Michigan over Eastern Michigan 3-1 Bowling Green over Toledo 3-2 Ohio over Kent State 3-1

If there is an upset tonight in the MAC, it would be Toledo upsetting the applecart shocking league leader Bowling Green. The Rockets have fallen to 8-5 and 6th place in the MAC and are in danger of not making the MAC tournament. Bowling Green (11-2) is leading the MAC and could possibly a little flat after taking over 1st place this weekend after being tied with Central Michigan a week ago. The Chips (10-3) were upset by Ohio 3-2 keeping the Bobcats hopes alive of making the MAC tournament. Ohio enters tonight’s match at Kent State with a 7-6 record. Meanwhile, 6th place Toledo have their backs against the wall and are desperate for a win after losing 2 matches to Western Michigan last week. Coach Jason Oliver should have his Rockets sky high for tonight’s match resulting in a potential humdinger with the high flying Falcons in Toledo’s Savage Arena.

As expected, Kitten predicted all 4 MAC matches correctly last night and has now has been successful predicting 33 of the past 38 matches. 8 teams remain in the hunt for the 6 team MAC tournament with Eastern Michigan (7-7) currently in 8th place, having the most favorable schedule and 5th place Ball State (9-4) having the most difficult. It appears Bowling Green (12-2) is going to win the league and host the all important MAC tournament. Central Michigan (11-3) is perched in 2nd place while Western Michigan and Buffalo are deadlocked in 4th at 10-4. Ball State resides in 6th at 9-4 and Toledo secures 7th place at 8-6 with 2 absolutely huge matches with Ball State looming Friday and Saturday in Toledo. Ball State also has two pivotal matches next weekend with Western Michigan.

wondering how close to the NCAA all-time Assist record Logan Case can get to? She has over 6000 career assist and I think needs about 500 to break the record. Western Michigan would need to win a couple matches in the MAC Tournament and then win a match or two in one of the post season tournaments. Also would help if they can play some 5 set matches.
