As a neutral. That was a fun match to watch - especially if you like defense and transition - which I do. This was more like Minnesota volleyball during the SSS period. Good passing, good D in backrow and at the net, hitters being aggressive but also smart. I thought Shaff looked a new player, over her injury and with a new supporting group.
They will be a tough out in the B1G. The one thing that worried me for them was that slump in the 4th. They reset in the 5th to their credit, but the 4th seemed to come out of nowhere and was just self doubt feeding on itself. That sudden slump was a little like the gophers of the last few years.
