I’m more concerned about Minnesota after seeing them perform against Stanford. They seem dialed in. This won’t be easy for Texas; but we can do it!

Stanford isn’t even that good especially with their line up rn. I’d be surprised if this was competitive for more than a set ish

Texas will blow out MN in 2 of the sets and 2 more sets will be competitive. 3-1 Texas wih Skinner having a monster match. I can certainly see this happening. However, Pedro is back and very evident with our two middles. They both put on a performance yesterday. We shall see how they stand up against Texas later today. I was very happy for both of them. Here's hoping their performance will continue into this match and the rest of the team can build on it.

Stanford is one of the toughest serving teams (albeit error prone) so hopefully the gophers can pass a little better. Obviously Minnesota isn’t expected to win but they did hit over .300 against Stanford and looked really great in some stretches of the match. I feel like this early people are a bit too high on Texas and a bit too low on Minnesota. Texas still takes this but I think and hope it’ll be fairly competitive can’t imagine how you can say people are too high on a Texas team coming off 2 national championships and might even be better than last year with their additions and after they dismantled Wisconsin team yesterday lol but I just meant the setting was pretty questionable and Wisconsin dismantled themselves more than anything lol. They are very good but I don’t think they are unbeatable by any stretch

Stanford and Minnesota both looked more ready than us or Wisconsin did.

I need "swiss" to post that, unfortunately, Texas will lose. And then all will be good.

A friend of mine is driving us from Madison to Milwaukee today. he's going to want to leave shortly after the UW-Stanford match, and I'm going to want to stay.
We jokingly (or was it?) agreed we'd stay as long as Minnesota scores 15 or more in a set. I wonder how many sets we'll see...

Flashback to Wenaas coming back to the Pav as a Longhorn. That one insane 4 to 4 rip she took at Landfair’s head and Landfair ducked and it was still like a foot inside the sideline😭😭😭
I’m the bozo that voted for a Gopher sweep btw. A little bit manifesting any win in general but mostly just hoping the Gophers play loose and look like they’re having fun. Go out there with some YOLO energy and see what happens!
Watch out Bevo! Goldy is sneaking up on ya! 😱🐂🐿️

I don't think the Gophers are going to win, but I do think they'll put up a decent fight.

I actually think that Minnesota is a hard/good matchup for Texas after watching their game yesterday. Tough serving and good blocking has been Texas’s Achilles heel in the past. If Minnesota can keep more of their serves in, this could be a tough win.

If Minnesota can keep more of their serves in, this could be a tough win. I think we have problems with teams with State in them. Iowa State. Long Beach State. Kansas State. Specifically when we’re playing in their gym. Heck, we’ve never beaten Oklahoma State. The match that concerns me most this year is Mississippi State. Don’t forget Louisiana State. Lots of states.

You seem to be implying Wucherer isn’t going to serve receive about 50 times. I’m picking the likeliest name, but Texas is going to zero in on the outside hitter playing 6 rotations and make her feel like Scott Sterling. Without the facials.
