Wucherer hit .000 and had 7 digs. Acevedo also had 7 digs, as a serving sub for Wucherer. I’ve seen enough…. At least just have Acevedo play her backrow to allow Wucherer to focus on offense. I’m already looking ahead to next year; I swear to god Cook better not redshirt Kinney! lol MN going to have a ton of options.

Ugh, it's tough watching Wucherer struggle so much. There just really isn't much she's doing on a consistent basis that is helping the team that I can see. She maybe passed a little bit better, but that doesn't mean it was "good." Not great serve receive, not great defense, can't serve, hit .000. She sort of seems lost.

Shocked and very happy to have such a strong defensive team this season. 85 digs in a 3 setter is fantastic and the general effort is astronomically better than last season. I wish Acevedo would stay in the backrow for Wuchs though, she's been great on defense so far. Minatee's consistently putting up middle numbers I've missed so so very much, still needs some work but she's finding ways to score. Also, Hanson for president. She’s not old enough. Elect her Queen.

I've got some new nicknames after tonight's match.
Alex Acevedo = Alex ACE-a-vedo Julia Hanson = "The Entertainer". In honor of her most excellent block celebration.

Something hard to see online but after that long serving run by Acevedo in the 3rd set, she got loud applause and some standing ovation 👏 from the fans. You loved to see it!

Love that for her and the program in general. The Pav knows and appreciates good volleyball. I hope the Thibault sisters had lots of family and friends in attendance! Paige has only played in 3 of 7 matches now so I’m glad one of them was in her home state!

Wuchs was the #1 rated player on her class and she has such a great attitude...I'm almost desperately wishing that she finds her way (but I'm not yet willing to sell my soul for her). MN hasn't had great success with #1 recruits. Wittman was good not great, Wuchs is trying to find her way, and Landfair, well, is Landfair.

All-B1G freshman team Unanimous all-B1G sophomore and senior year AA second team senior year She was arguably one of the best freshman 6 rotation OHs in 2010. Great all around player. Acevedo might be the closest thing to this teams Wittman

Landfair, despite the vitriol she now receives from a lot of MN fans, was a first-team AA and B1G player of the year.
