well let’s not go that far. Nebraska could definitely beat Pitt. I think Pitt is definitely better right now but I do not like their natch up vs Nebraska so I’d like to avoid them in the tournament unless it’s the final in which case then you just gotta play them I mean right now? I think Pitt destroys them Tournament Nebraska is always a different animal (And tbh they are right now, but Nebraska has shown weaknesses when there are multiple point scoring options (SMU and Creighton) And correct me if I’m wrong, but Pitt has been serving pretty tough this year, which Nebraska has kinda struggled with at times. Right now I take Pitt December is always different as cook is a master at getting his team ready Dont forget UCLA’s 10 point run on us Friday!! lol. I don’t know if destroyed is the right word, seems strong, but I do agree we could easily get swept as we have shown. I also agree December Nebraska is different (usually) and this team has the makings to be extra special this December. I DO NOT want to see Pitt until the NC and that could be a absolute classic. Also, I’d rather lose to to Pitt than any other team in the NC (but I really want to win lol). It goes without saying we could not make the NC.

Roddy is the only clear choice Lexi, Murray, and Andi would all start, no questions asked. agreed. Allick or Blackwell would have a decent chance too

Minnesota's best wins are Texas, Auburn, and Wisconsin. They lost close 5-set matches to TCU, Baylor, and Purdue. Perhaps I have them too low, but considering where they started from in the preseason, I think #12 is a fair ranking for them. Texas' best wins are Wisconsin and Baylor. Their losses are to Minnesota, Miami, and Stanford. Perhaps they're a little high too, but considering their talent and the teams below them, I think #9 is a fair ranking for them. Stanford's best wins are Minnesota, Wisconsin, Marquette, Texas, Kentucky. They've been swept by Nebraska and Louisville. Their resume is pretty good. Their losses are too good teams, but they didn't look good at all in them. Wisconsin's best wins are TCU, Baylor, and Marquette. Their losses are to Louisville, Stanford, Texas, and Minnesota. Okay, yeah. I do have them too high. My bad. I'd probably rank them ≈#9-11 or so if I could revise my poll. Thanks for pointing that out. Yeah, I had Wisconsin at 12 and Minnesota at 11 because I couldn't think of a good reason to rank Wisconsin ahead of Minnesota at this point. 1. Pittsburgh 2. Nebraska 3. Penn State 4. Louisville 5. Creighton 6. Stanford 7. Kansas 8. Texas 9. Purdue 10. Oregon 11. Minnesota 12. Wisconsin I'm less confident in the bottom half of my poll (I wasn't able to do a ballot the previous few weeks), so I'll only post my top 12. If you take Texas and put them below Minnesota then this would be top 12 too.

It was YOU that voted Oregon 18! Explain please What's their best win? What results on their schedule impress you? The teams ahead have at least one win I'm more impressed with so far. Now, when they beat Penn State, they'll go in my top 10...sigh.

Clearly, the Pitt-Nebraska merger would be a terror-laden lineup. Fairbanks, Stafford, Kelley, Babcock, Murray, Jackson, Rodriguez would be my choice for starters. Somehow you'd want to work in Mauch as well but which 6ro pin is she DS'ing for?

I totally understand it’s a team sport and chemistry is important but could the argument be made that Nebraska is better at every position than Pittsburgh besides opposite? I would take Bri kelley over Allick Stafford over anyone (both outsides) Babcock over anyone (any option they have at opp) I would take VVG over Krause (not over landfair and Murray though) Fairbanks at this point over Bergen (but idk how Bergen would look with Pitt) Roddy is the only clear choice Pitt at this point destroys Nebraska Things may change come tournament time, but Pitt truly looks unbeatable right now I just realized Stafford, Murray, Babcock, Jackson, and Reilly are literally 5 out of 7 of the U21 NT starters. And Kelley, Allick, Beason, Rodriguez, Fairbanks are from the NT one age group ahead of them. Pitt keeping with Nebraska on recruiting is insane (I recognize that Fisher was the head coach for many of those junior/youth NTs lol)

I hadn't really given Texas vs. Minnesota that much thought, but there is a real case to put the Gophers higher.

Roddy is the only clear choice Lexi, Murray, and Andi would all start, no questions asked. Ok that was poor wording on my part. I meant position based. Like there is two middles, and two outsides, I think VVG is better than one and Allick is better than one. Sorry, that did not convey well.

When was the last team that was this dominant up to this point of the season? Do we have to go back to the Penn State dynasty? 2022 Texas was pretty close (after 1st week of conference play, 5 total sets lost with a tougher schedule) I raise you 2019 Baylor. They only dropped 2 sets in the first 16 matches of the season.

I totally understand it’s a team sport and chemistry is important but could the argument be made that Nebraska is better at every position than Pittsburgh besides opposite? Yeah, you can always make an argument, but Stafford and Fairbanks might be better than their counterparts at RED. With that said, the physical talent on Nebraska and Pitt overall is pretty close IMO and they look like the top two teams. Texas also has a lot of physical talent (size and athleticism) so I wouldn't totally rule them out either in December.
