Followed the Ducks for a while. Never known them to do that before. If they were yelling to distract opposing servers that is a new thing. It's Maya cheering. They're fixated on one girl on the bench making noise for her teambeing unsportsmanlike. Ftfy

Once again, the upper midwesterners take it upon themselves to lecture others on matters of decorum. I particularly love how they'll go on about enforcing matters of civility and manners and then go vote for Trump. Uh, just so you know, Biden won Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Illinois, so please revisit that statement. My statement was not incorrect as to two of those states, including Wisconsin.

Not only protesting that, but responding with regionalism and politics is a bad response - it's almost as if the response would indicate that the lecture was justified.

It seems homerism knows no bounds with some people.

I like critical thinking. Something is wrong when only a single person behaves like this.

It's almost as if it's incredibly tiring getting lectured by a group that utterly lacks perspective and self-reflection. I'm now waiting for someone to follow up and ask me to agree that everyone is so nice and welcoming and polite.

I'm aware this is a shared thread but your continuing bitter fight is silly, and there's a reason it's "you vs the world" - because no one else is willing to back you on this.

welcome to the world of sports. If volleyball wants to be a mainstream sport, then players and fans need to get used to noise, noise during serving, etc... You don't hear people complaining about noise at a basketball game during a free throw. But not from the opposing team! If the opposing team's players are waving their hands or screaming during that free throw, they're probably getting a technical foul. Fans, yes. Opposing players, NO! you guys are so ridiculously soft this is honestly so embarrassing to complain about 😭 I also can’t believe how genuinely shocked you appear by this. The way you’re acting you’d think the Oregon bench was trying to set fire to the field house 😭

(We have shanked away sets to several bad teams this season, and unfortunately our coach has grown resistant to making adjustments).
