As a Kansas fan - I am just hoping for a split this weekend.
In listening to the Kansas players - there is no doubt they have great interest in this game. Their schedule since playing Purdue and Creighton has been underwhelming and I am pretty sure they are very much interested in playing a really good team. I suspect this match has been circled on their schedule for several weeks now.
No idea what ASU is thinking - they have already had some tough competition in conference (unlike Kansas). Still have to think this is the one they most want.

Still have to think this is the one they most want. I tend to agree and think that over the last 10 games or so, Kansas has looked its best playing Utah. It was interesting to hear Davis after Utah talk about how the team wanted to prove to the ranking committee that they deserved the #8 spot after getting bumped - I’m hoping that bodes well for how they show up to this game. I believe they are at their best when they are highly aggressive because then all control and court defense usually take care of themselves (and I hope it holds tonight). Also, per my earlier comment, it appears Davis was practicing yesterday in the IG clips they had - good to see as this game deserves both teams at their best. |

I may be a homer, but I think Kansas is the better team. But its gonna take everyone to win this game on the road. I am personally looking at our seniors in Bien, Elnady, Turner, Davis and Onabanjo. We need them to perform at a high level. I think Kansas is the more complete team and this is their chance to show the volleyball world that they aren’t a team to be looked past.

I kinda think espn plus had the match times swapped for Arizona State-Kansas and Arizona-Kansas State. The stream for Arizona-Kansas State was late to start and initially was scheduled for 8 Central |
