Any thoughts about the match tonight. it will be PSU's first real challenge.Blocking will be a big factor they both have some great hitters.

I think LSU proved to be PSU's first real challenge.
PSU will win in 4. Too many weapons to stop.

I'm picking Texas. Depends on PSU's ball control -- and assuming what I saw of UT's ball control at Madison was not an aberration. Besides, I want to give Go Iowa the chance to call me a "po' foo'" again. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

You're picking a non-Big Ten team? I hope Minnesota loses all of the rest of their matches this year. Foolish Fool. ![:-*](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/kiss.png)

Oh I would love for PSU to win this match. But I would put my money on the Longhorns. I think the talent is pretty similiar. Texas is further along. They both have young players but, someone like Engle is alot further along as a volleyball player than someone like Hodge. Also, the match being in Austin is a factor as well. If PSU really serves and passes well, they can win. I know this, there are going to be some balls hammered out there tonight. I think the match may also have the FOY and the POY on the court! I would bet FOY for sure. This is a great opportunity for both teams, but especially for PSU who has not played an opponent this good or an opponent in this environment. Some kids are going to grow up tonight (or at least they better) Thsi is the kind of match that should be on TV.

1) Ruffda, nice pic of Mo. 2) I pick Penn State because of the Russ factor. Too old, too cynical, and too unPC.

UT in 4.
Freshman setter. Freshman OH. And Fawcette against a big block hasn't been a great thing in the past.
Should be a good one though.
As always, serving/passing will ultimately determine the outcome when big guns are nearly equal on both sides of the net.
