would anyone be surprised if these were the top 8 seeds for the tournament?
1. Nebraska at 8. Texas 2. Penn State at 7. Florida 3. Stanford at 6. Washington 4. UCLA vs. 5. USC at Hawaii
That wouldn't surprise me at all.

How is Oregon not ranked _especially_ if California only drops 3 spots?

How does New Mexico State drop? Well I guess it is in who you play and beat as well as what happens to the teams ahead of you in the poll. I'm still scratching my head at dropping 1...

I think it's a decent poll. I would have dropped USC below UW.
I also think LBSU and Oregon are seriously underranked. Plus, Oklahoma should be higher than Missouri.

Now I'm thinking Minnesota is ranked too high. They've gone up 11 spots in two weeks.

And, for the third straight week, Minnesota posts the largest point gain in the poll.

I actually do not care much about rankings (as for any other thing that has absolutely subjective matter) but what has Utah acomplished so far in order to earn #9 other than beating BYU? Apparently those who say the main concept is to penalize not to award have a good reason.

Great bump by the Gophers. Nice to see. Now the hard part is continuting to playing well and beating all of those lower-ranked teams (and unranked teams). The second part of the Big Ten is not going to be any cakewalk.....Revenge will be on the minds of many, and we can't look by anyone, esp. the Michigans, Northwestern, and, of course, the ranked opponents.
Wonderful rebound from a tough preseason. Lookin forward to Ohio St and Penn St this weekend.

They'll be sorely disappointed when they don't make the sweet 16.
