UCLA's offense was spread out among Meriwether, Sather and Carter, while USC's was 2-women offense with Kaczor and Copenhagen (no other hitter with more than 1 kill in game 1)

USC was down 2-4 before 4 straight points to lead 6-4. Yeah after an attack error by Nana, Catie and Nellie back to back to back.

Gysin is having a very quiet night with only 6 swings and 0 kills with 2 errors.
She needs to step up to help open the net.
From the audio, it seems like USC is over-committing the blockings to Meriwether.

USC is running too many sets to Kaczor. Gysin and the MBs need to help her out.

Checked out the play-by-play. IN game 1, it was tied 25 before UCLA closed out with 5 points on Kaczor's serve error, 2 kills by Carter, error by Copenhagen and kill by spicer

Johansen is not playing well for the last few weeks. I hope Haley tried to mix things up by subbing her with Bishop.

Banachowksi mixes things up using Lyman as libero. She's a good passer. They've got a lot of girls that can actually be used as a libero. 24-18 UCLA

The Bruins are stuffing the Trojans' attacks. Double blocking the OHs.
UCLA 29-22.

As good as UCLA is playing right now. They still have fairly weak outside hitting, not improved much since last week. No OH is over .2%
