who was the commentators for the television broadcast? I don't recall names. But the female commentator was a SDSU grad '94 and I don't think she had a clue about volleyball. Anyone notice how she compared Houston's "backswing" to Allen's "backswing"? Sounded like she was talking about tennis most of the time. As much as I do not care for Heather Cox, she is still far better than many of the commentator's out there right now.

I should have turned down the volume and listened to Scott Robbs. I think KFVE does a better job overall with their broadcast then CSTV although I may be a biased.

The WAC tv webcast carried Scott Robbs' radio feed for the audio.

who was the commentators for the television broadcast? I have to chime in on this one. I was there last night and the match was super exciting. Now I am home watching the CSTV replay. They are 'killing' the play by play. Where did they get these two? I feel like I am watching a completely different match. They are giving no credit for points, are getting names wrong... all while continuing to babble about nonsense. Apparently they both played some kind of sport in college. Is miniature golf a sport in college? Because that is my guess as to their background. I feel sorry for anyone who paid for this. I would demand a refund. Yikes!

Hey low ... I haven't seen them since the last time they came to the Silicon Valley... in your opinion...how are they doing now? Much, MUCH better! Passing is still suspect at times, but the chemistry has really clicked. They really respond well to one another, pump each other up, and are playing with heart. For the most part they KNOW where each player is on the court without having to look. (In sync.) Also, over the last 13 days of travel they have really bonded. They are truly a different team. The funniest thing they all did together was----ice-skating. I wonder if Shoji knew what they were doing???

Nevada did a crappy job this year.
Their basketball court sucked.... hm... I wonder why? I think it's because for volleyball you need a volleyball court!!!!!
What the hell happened to the sport court they had last year? That one was worlds better than the ones they had this year!!!!
If they want to host the damn tournament they should at least cater itself to it rather than their stupid basketball teams!!!!
I don't give a crap if Fresno State hosted it next year, if they use their sport court, it's worlds better than the crap that Nevada put out.

The wood floor is MUCH better to play on than sport court. Granted it doesn't look as nice... SportCourt is generally awful to play on. Best surfaces are Taraflex (like Hawai'i and Idaho have), and wood.

Does anyone know if that sentiment (that it's generally awful to play on) is held by a lot of players and coaches? The reason I ask is that I've seen several places with it and having just stepped on it a few times, my impression of it was not a good one.

Plus, they are thousands of interlocking tiles. A real pain to set up and take down. Taraflex is rolled out.

The surface seemed a little slick and I couldn't picture assembling and disassembling all those tiles.
