ASU won game one over Cal. Both teams hitting .286 (exactly) in game two. Really!?! wow... first ASU sweeps Arizona, and then they take a game off of Cal?...not to mention they had some pretty close games when they visited Washington a few weeks ago.... interesting Now back to the match. I'd just like to point out that A LOT of the UCLA points are coming off of the great sets that spicer puts up. It's SOOOO freakin effortless, she just stands there and makes everyone look great.

so this game is much closer. UW leading 22-21. The biggest difference I see is that UW got down a couple of times off stupid errors (like netting an overpass) and UCLA also began to terminate better

Just an observation...Becky Perry doesn't seem to be able to to hit the overpasses very well. She has either netted them, or not hit them with enough authority to keep them down and the UCLA defenders eat it up...

Nice match by Becky Perry, 12-4-18 for .444 Hagglund had 3 kills on 6 attempts. That may be a record for a UW setter

Christal was en fuego until game 3. Brick was just DAYY-UM! Both blocking and hitting. Tama is so f'in amazing, I am so glad she is on our team.
The officials sucked.

The officials sucked. it still amazes me that it's one of the top or THE best conference...and we still get the kind of officiating that makes you shake your head....

I agree...the Pac-10 is the preeminent sports conference and we have the worst refs...and it's not just volleyball, trust me.
