It would be interesting if the selection committee put UW across the bracket from Penn St setting up a rematch of last year's regional final.

Finally got to see the match.
I did not expect Washington to be this good this year. Their ball control is amazing. Their Libero has probably the best anticipation of any Libero in D1. I've seen some liberos who maybe make more athletic plays. Washington's libero doesn't have to.... she seems to always know exactly where the ball is going to go. I'm surprised I haven't heard more about Hagglund. He set location is so amazingly consistent, and she is a freshmen! Washington isn't missing Thompson at all. The only thing that Thompson has on Hagglund is leadership on the court; but Morrison is more than picking up the slack.
Someon metioned that UCLA's passing sucked. I completely disagree. UCLA was beaten by a better team.
Spicer had an off night because of a sprained hand/wrist. The commentators kept mentioning that her location was off for the back row attacker. In all honesty, I've always thought her location to the back row attack was always off. She has a tendency to set the ball behind the 3 meter line.... instead of in front. If UCLA had a second left side attacker who could put the ball down, this would have been a much tighter match.
