I had a pro-lifer ask me once if I was pro-life or pro-choice. I told him to get me pregnant and find out. I guess he really didn't want to know for sure, since he didn't take up on my offer.

Another example of Christian love and peace, I guess.

Dang... you ruined it. I was planning to post this article with the thread title " Another Deadly Terrorist Attack On US Soil", and then follow it up with the comment that, since the shooter is acting on behalf of a radical and violent personal belief system and not in the authorized uniform of a standing national army, then therefore he is an " unlawful enemy combatant" and therefore should be beaten with rubber hoses and mock-suffocated immediately. After all, as far as we know this could be part of a planned wave of violent terrorist attacks on doctors throughout the country. Perhaps there is a ticking time bomb in a Planned Parenthood clinic even as we speak. Clearly we are justified in rounding up all suspected white radical christians and torturing them until we are 100% convinced that there are no ticking time bombs anywhere.

I'm sure Rush and (the) Dick will say it wasn't torture. crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/liz-cheney-waterboarding

O and U,
Just wanted to make sure you understand that the tie between christians and white men is even less conclusive than the tie between muslims and terrorists.
Also, has anybody stopped to think that he could have been murdered for reasons not associated to his profession? Plus, he's old. How many more abortions was he going to do? If you were going to make a statement wouldn't you kill a young abortion doctor?

Maybe if you offered him a paper bag along with that proposition you might elicit a different response next time?

Also, has anybody stopped to think that he could have been murdered for reasons not associated to his profession? How many people have had two murder attempts commited upon them? That would be a mighty big coincidence, wouldn't it? But there is a way we can know for sure. We just "rendition" the suspect to some foreign country and let our interrogation experts go to work.

Because a statement like that does not deserve debate. Because someone who makes a statement like that *deserves* to be called what he is.
Bill, meet 9/11 terrorists. You are the same.
Now, to be fair, I'll assume you are playing the devil's advocate. But, to be fair, you asked for a response. This would be my response if you are serious.
It's like saying: The Jews killed Jesus and thus deserve to be exterminated. Debate.
Why would we want to debate?

If you were going to make a statement wouldn't you kill a young abortion doctor? Maybe because of this: Morris Wilson, a commander of the Kansas Unorganized Citizens Militia in the mid-1990s, told The Kansas City Star he knew Roeder fairly well.
"I'd say he's a good ol' boy, except he was just so fanatic about abortion," Wilson said. "He was always talking about how awful abortion was.

It always goes back to the same thing: People who are so sure they know what is right also think they have the right to do anything they want for their cause. Dick Cheney? Are you listening?
