She an athlete. This is the Olympics. I'm sure she would be tweeting that she's fine and ready for the next match even if her leg were broken. But, nevertheless, it still sounds good.

Court is *officially* the same height as Berg (personally, I think that was done in high heals or shox, but still they are close). If you complain about Court at the net, you DO NOT want to think about Tama at the net setting.

Actually, for her high school, I believe, Tamari wasn't a setter or a libero, but an OH.

This is the last tournament of Berg's career. I'm sure she'll be out there even if she needs CT to roll her wheelchair around the court.

lol...Tama setting? WTF is wrong with people? Actually TomTom is quite a good setter. As stated earlier, she was Court's backup during the 2005 NC season. She played OH in high school (Hawai'i GPOY) but I think she set for her club team. She came to UW as a setter but Jim turned her into a libero (after basically totally retraining her). Thankfully Court played every minute of 2005 and Tama was able to preserve her redshirt year (Court started every game of her college career and only came out for a few blowouts). Of course, there is a big difference between being "quite a good" college setter 7 years ago and being the emergency NT setter, but if Lindsey can't play and Court then gets hurt, do you really want to use up Logan Tom as a setter? Hopefully, of course, it won't come to that.

Once the competition starts, the roster is frozen.

Nope, the roster is submitted the day before competition, once that is done, nobody else is allowed on the bench or even the locker room. That goes for every sport in the Olympics.

Alternatively, the libero (Miyashiro) could set with Thom in the front row and Thom could set in the back row. I don't believe that Thompson has ever missed time due to injury. It would be pretty black luck to lose both Berg and Thompson. Hopefully, we aren't going to lose either.
