I guess you have not seen Kyra Goodman in action. She played for the LBVC and is quite fantastic. She is 6-0 tall, very athletic, great hands, fast, and is alot more athletic compared to her sister. She has a great jump floater, and very good in the backcourt as well. With Tayler Higgins, I think Hawaii will have two very good young setters for the future! I have seen video of Kyra Goodman, and I will be shocked if she beats out Tayler Higgins, who is up for the best high school setter, for the backup spot to Mita Uiato. Why waste a year and carry 3 setters, when you can reshirt her, and have the setter position solidified for 4-5 years, after next year. You do have a great point there in redshirting one setter. I think the coaches will evaluate the setters in practice first before making that decision, on who to redshirt. I am very happy that both are on the Wahine roster. Both setters bring a lot to the table, Goodman has height and can be a big asset as far as blocking. Higgins is a very offensive setter, both have great hands. I'm excited and can't wait for the upcoming season!

How about Wong passing out UH Athletics flyers to Texas' bench during our game this season?

Shoji may also decide to hold a few scholarships for subsequent years. To not waste any in 2014, he may use the scholarships for junior or senior transfers.
I believe he said that he doesn't like to have so many same class scholarship players.

Im still very happy about Kalei Greeley think she is something really special...kind of reminds me of a young Tabi Love. On a separate note I would be equally excited if Brooke Mcdermott comes to Hawaii. Just watching her youtube videos she reminds me so much 9f Jodan Burgess. Love Taylor Agost' leaping ability but to be honest thats the only real thing im impressed on her. Maybe if she does come to Hawaii Shoji can mode her into a Brittany Hewitt type. Not really impressed about Sirena Vorster but got to admit was not impressed with Jade coming out of high school. I really hope Hawaii can land that OH that plays on Kyra Goodmans club team---so Kanani like! I also think Shoji should consider a libeiro for a scholarship after Longo leaves...really feel down the road that will be the position that may need help after this season.
