I'm hopeful for the 2013 season.
6 starters return. 2 Recruits that can push starters.
Some lessons from 2012: Uiato will have to learn how to set the middles on off plays. UH will need to find a right side attack. Finding a right side that can play 6 rotations to give Hawaii more options when Uiato is front row. Hartong will need to become a better serve receive player. Beach may help that. Blocking should be an emphasis this off season.
With Adolpho playing basketball, her middle position will be up for grabs. Vorster will have to become quicker on attacks. She has the potential to be great like Youngquist.
It'll be interesting to see what Olevao does next year. If she isn't competing for the right side, then does she redshirt.
Hopefully, the left sides will run plays and be move around more than just hitting from the left pin.
Hopefully UH can schedule an ACC, Big10 and/or SEC team to bolster their RPI.

Vorster will be much stronger next season. I think she'll follow in Britt Hewitt's shoes and be a much better player In her Sophomore season. Taylor is huge but not sure if she will be able to win the OPP position next season. Higgins will push both Uitao and Stauber.

UH WILL be a top 16 seed in next years draw. They will beat UCLA next year, and may go undefeated. I hope they bring in some good teams to start the season. They should be ranked very high to start the season as well.

Don't know how much neutral site record factors into seedings, but UH had no neutral site games until the NCAA's. They were the only team out of the 64 to not play on a neutral site before the post season.
The Big West hopefully will fair better next year. CSUN returns most of their team. LB has a great coach. SDSU will be a nice addition. Boise St. will hurt the conference, but it'll give the team a nice travel change.
Hope the middles and Uiato will not play beach and work in doors to get a better connection.

At least one or two DS's will leave, I think. Makes sense since they're overpopulated at that position.

Hartong will be thinking about that 4th set swing during the entire Christmas break. No, actually, I will.

I think at least 3 girls will leave. i can see tuaniga and stauber leaving i would understand and be able to see Tuaniga leaving but not Stauber. she may be a back up setter to Uiato, but she is valuable. i just can't see her leaving. DS yes, more than any other position. Shoji & Company need to recruit and look at more hitters. that is what they really need.

Vorsters numbers this year are almost as good as Brit during her all american sophomore season. Better hitting stats but not as good a blocker...yet.

Hartong will be thinking about that 4th set swing during the entire Christmas break. No, actually, I will. Brah i'm still pissed. One swing away from pulling off the upset. Hartong is still my girl tho. She'll come back with a vengeance next year. The whole team will. Final four garanz.

i can see tuaniga and stauber leaving Tk is 50/50 Monica is going Nowhere! She will be back for sure. I'm confused. TK is a Junior and has already used her red shirt year. So she can't transfer anywhere and play, can she? Stauber, on the other hand, is a true Soph.
