well that was a doosey. But big props if Hawaii is actually Brookes choice. if they do she'll be great at the Outside. If theres that other girl from florida, that means someone will have to bench in this comming season since Taylor, Olevao and kastl will be gunning for that RS spot. Who will it be. There is strong chance she might stay home and play. She is a little undersized at 6-feet, but plays like she is 6-3, a lot like current Wahine All-American Emily Hartong, but blocks like Brittany Hewitt. She is a shotdown blocker. If Hawaii does get her it will be a big plus for them.

They'll make it into the Elite 8 Rd.; yet their weak schedule won't allow for more toward a return trip to Seattle. Hartong makes 1st Team AA, Uiato makes 3rd Team AA, Longo and Croson make HM as well. Am I missing something, or are you missing a MB?

@ wang pu, I noticed that too. How the hell can the Wahine play with just one middle blocker?
His assessment don't make sense either!

well with these new recruits that are comming in. I think its best if they redshirt till next year. hopefully the conference will get a lot better. 2014 UH should be able to fill in major positions since a few players are leaving.

I was also wondering what happened to Hannah Rooks....She said she committed to Hawaii sand volleyball team already. It says everywhere that she did. but she is not on the roster....I REALLY WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE SHE IS A GREAT VBALL PLAYER OVERALL. SAND AND INDOOR. and if she plays beach vball she might play indoor too!!

ohh yea so she is still part of that 2013 class.so she is a 2013 recruit. and not a 2014. haha. Do you think she will play indoor too? SHE SHOULD!!!! We got 2 setters already. (both are 2013) so maybe train her as a right side since she played RS before and she is tall and athletic!

hopefully she plays indoor vball too! Then she would be with the 2 REALLY GREAT RECRUITS HAWAII GOT! Taylor Higgins prepvolleyball #19 and Nikki Tayler prep volleyball #26. They would all graduate together. Then Hawaii would be a very strong team!!!!! I MEAN VERY STRONG

what? is that the rule? I thought you could....because how come the players that have indoor vball scholarships are aloud to play sand volleyball? and why can't it be the other way around?

That's the rule. If she were a walkon it wouldn't matter. Obviously, you can still play both indoor and sand if you're on a scholarship but it must be counted as an indoor scholarship.

ohhh so she could play both indoor and sand vball as long as she is a walk on for one of them...in this case a walk on for indoor vball?
