blindeye, as of last season the rule for sand and indoors was if you're on an indoor scholarship you can walk on for sand. If you're on a sand scholarship, you can't play indoors for two seasons. I reason that the intent is to stop schools with sand programs to get a player on a sand scholarship her first year and then give her an indoor scholarship come the next indoor season. This may be the two years that you've heard of, but not playing for sand 2 years only.

Would have liked to see Rooks take one of the indoor schollies available in 2014, and redshirt her freshman year.

I'm not surprised at all about Agost's decision. At Maeda's senior night she didn't seem to be impressed with what was going on and she had nothing positive to say about her visit in Hawaii. Yes she can sky, but after watching personally and in videos, Nikki Taylor, Hannah Rooks and Kalei Greeley currently have more skills than Agost. I'll take them before her.

Agost is very overrated. Brooke Mcdermott is more impressive, and she's barely 6 feet tall.

Btw, I don't anticipate Adolpho returning this upcoming season also. 1. Ben Jay (who's Pake) is the new AD. ...Donovan isn't there as Shoji's "backer" anymore. 2. The new WBB coach will be looking to vastly improve upon her team's successes (or lack-thereof). ...Kalei is a HUGE part of this equation. 3. FWIW "Asian relations" in Hawai'i--grossly exaggerated--don't go well. ...Esp between Chinese and Japanese Americans. *Shoji, go figure* WHAT KALEI ADOLPHO PROBABLY WONT COMEBACK TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL ANYMORE?!?! The Wahine Volleyball program is the most successful program at UH, nothing else comes close. Why you came up with such a ridiculous assumption about the new AD and how he would not support the one program, that has put the university on the map nationally? I don't know. What are you trying to stir up here?

yes but besides Kalei Adolpho and if she leaves....Monica Stauber, Stephanie Hagins and Kristina Kam are leaving. We need more people to fill those spots. We need more MH!!! (For next season) Maybe transfers are coming to UH? or more 2013 recruits?
