Sand volleyball is very boring. It's one of those sports where unless you're participating...it's pretty boring to watch. It will take a while, before we will see the kind of coverage like they do with the indoor game.

Interesting - the sand season also starts on March 15th. That match against FIU starts at 9:30 AM. Do the crossover girls play sand in the morning, indoor at 7:00 then back to the sand tournament on Saturday? Yeah, I imagine Shoji will probably limit their playing time. Also isn't the Big West Basketball tournament that week so Kalei might not even be on the island.

It gets coverage in the local print and web media. The match is not televised, but tell me ONE collegiate sport that has its off-season training sessions televised.

I thought the Texas Tech match was sand volleyball as well, but then I remember Texas Tech don't have sand volleyball team. And who wants to watch a spring indoor match?

Last-minute TR Rupia Inck (2x All-Am. who's always looking to improve). client.stretchinternet.com/client/fpu.portal# ...ON DEMAND, WVB 10-30-12 (#8 vs. #12) Move E. Hartong, who struggles as an OH with passing, back into the middle. Make J. Croson OH1 for the next two years (for 2x All-Am. recognition>>>moving into some European professional league after graduation..her beach partner has already moved on, as she did from UW and Pepperdine, and *I'd* drop the 'sand' game for the remainder of school years @uh and focus on earning a B.A. degree of some substance). My Team: --- This 2013 team will be "decided" by several explanatory variables.. 1. Kalei's Return? 2. Ashley K.'s / Ginger's WSVB season 3. ALL OHs Improvements in Passing

I've never seen one in my 45 years of sports from Atlanta and Florida to San Francisco and Hawaii.

Is Rupia Inck really transferring to Hawaii for the 2013 season?

Thanks for the info. Clearly, I'm out of the College Football loop .... not surprising since I believe it is destroying the heart of college athletics. So, I'll amend my statement to say, "other than football" .... doesn't really change the sentiment of my initial post.

Is their 2013 schedule known? Hopefully it will be stronger than 2012's.
