I don't care about the roster, I am just going to enjoy my beer and all the tight shorts on the court, Lol.

Nikki Taylor is never going to be a middle. This reminds me of when some Hawai'i fans were convinced Michelle Waber was a middle. Taylor is a Fab 50 recruit who has trained almost exclusively as an outside. You seriously think a coach as experienced as Shoji is going to give her reps as a middle just because she's tall? At least Waber played some middle in juniors. Taylor spent the past few years being bred as the next big OH from Hawai'i. It's like spending years training to pick apples and all of a sudden you decide you'd rather pick oranges. Big difference.

Ok. I rarely comment, but Nikki Taylor is NEVER going to be a middle. This reminds me of when some Hawai'i fans were convinced Michelle Waber was a middle. It's not going to happen. Taylor is a Fab 50 recruit who has trained almost exclusively as an outside. You seriously think a coach as experienced as Shoji is going to give her reps as a middle just because she's tall? Come on. At least Waber played some middle in juniors. Taylor spent the past few years being bread as the next big OH from Hawai'i. It's like spending years training to pick apples and all of a sudden you decide you'd rather pick oranges. Big difference. I can agree with you on Taylor but you are dead wrong on Waber. She should have stayed a middle! I think her performance as an outside as a Wahine or an Aztec proves my point! The reason why Dave did not play her in the middle had nothing to do with her ability...

Majority of the Hawaii fans know that Nikki is not a middle. And all that you have stated...is nothing new, every hardcore Hawaii fan knew that 2-3 years ago. Don't be an ass!

Look for Missouri to make it outta da SEC. Look for Wisconsin to make it outta da B1G. --- Hawai'i will end up playing one of them in the post season. are you seriously wasting this ability to predict the future on a random online message board about college volleyball? if i were you, i'd get my ass to Vegas! ASAP!

Well.... I think Hawaii can still beat Long Beach State. Hawaii beat them even without Jane Croson. It will be a tough match for UH but I think they will battle hard and will win at the end! LIKE LAST TIME! LBSU only has Haleigh Hampton and Erin Juley. And Joy Milley. Hawaii still has many amazing players.... Hawaii can beat LBSU with these amazing girls on the court..... OH/OPP- Emily Hartong, Tai Manu Olevao, Ashley Kastl, Nikki Taylor MB-Kalei Adolpho, Jade Vorster, AND IF HAWAII GET TRANSFERS!!!! Setter- Mita Uiato, Taylor Higgins (GREAT BACKUP SETTER! AND WILL BE USEFUL WHEN THEY DO THE DOUBLE SUB TO HAVE 3 HITTERS IN THE FRONT ROW! Libero- Ali Longo

I don't know the exact lineup for Hawaii but I am pretty sure Nikki Taylor will find her way into the starting line up! And she will be amazing! She will make an immediate impact as a freshman! But the others girls i didn't list before are also amazing......a lot of competition for the OH/OPP position. There will be even more competition when Hawaii gets some transfers (OH/OPP or MB) And that will make them even better

Libero- Ali Longo First of all Erin Juley is not returning this year, and Long Beach State returns Chisom Okpala who had a breakout year last season, also Janisa Johnson will be back along with Bre Mackie, and Alex Reid, and Tiara Wallace, all saw action last season. Hampton is not the only star on this Long Beach State team. They will be very tough.
