Of course Jane Croson can't play this season! Hawaii is playing Arizona this season....probably won't see Hawaii play Arizona for awhile since Croson will be there.....Like Hawaii won't schedule matches with Arizona for their tournaments. And does anyone know more about that girl from China? Any volleyball videos that shows her skills? I am really curious and wanna see how good she is!  Google her....TONS of video on this girl. As BIK said, she LOVES Hawaiian men, so she is a slam dunk recruit.  |

please send me a link....She sounds like a very amazing volleyball player and I really wanna see her play! I HOPE SHE COMMITS TO HAWAII SOON! WE COULD USE HER! We need a really good 2014 recruiting class! 2013 class looking good with Nikki Taylor and Taylor Higgins but we need more for 2014...especially cuz Emily Hartong won't be there anymore after this season and Mita Uiato.....and those other girls....

As I said Croson can't play this 2013 Fall season because she did not get a release. She'll be playing for Arizona, if she straightens out her issues, for 2014-15, but it won't stop Shoji from scheduling Arizona for those two years, if he hasn't retired by then. Lots of ifs but I know Dave is not the kind of guy to not schedule Arizona for 2014 or 15 because she's on the team. As I see it, Shoji's idea is to put her on probation for this season for the very late timing of her finally deciding to transfer. He had inquiries from proven D1 OHs wanting to transfer to UH early this year, but had no scholarship to offer. |

you said that so you must know the names of some proven D1 OH that were looking to transfer to Hawaii.....who then? are they still interested? is Dave Shoji interested now since Croson is gone?

I think Hu Jinghua is more on the 6'7" side though..... That could possibly be true. She was 6'5 a year ago and still growing! |

Firstly, don't take this in a wrong view but I'm guessing that you're an 11 year old UH home match ball girl, that's aspiring to be on the team as a libero in 2020. Keep up the enthusiasm. If you read my post very carefully, I didn't say that I knew who the OHs were. The info of the interests were from two UH coaches who are not at liberty to name names. It's a known policy and respect to everyone involved not to reveal details, especially names. No need for the public to know and to be clear I don't know. |
