He must have some sort of deadline or something.

He must have some sort of deadline or something. You would think that they would just look to older threads then...There is definitely one about the 2013 commits. If they care that much, do some looking around

***They'll be an AVCA Top 5 team (in this 2013 season)***
Starters
Setter: 5.8, SR, Mita Uiato, VBM Fab 50 (who will be refined/pushed inexorably by a relentless T. Higgins) MB: 6.4, SO, Jade Vorster, #89 Prepvolleyball.com Senior Ace MB: 6.1, 5thYr-SR, Kristiana Tuaniga, VBM Fab 50 (who will be found a place in the lineup 'cause of da 2012 NCAAs) OH/Bc Hitter: 6.2, SR, Emily Hartong, All-American (who'll probably make AA during this her final year of collegiate play also) OH: 5.11, SO, Ginger Long, VBM Fab 50.5 (who will be much improved after another "sand" season in 2013) OPP/Bc Hitter: 6.0, JR, Jane Croson, All-American (who will more than likely NOT play "sand" anymore--making Spring 2013 her last--until after her collegiate eligibility runs its course in 2014-15) Libero: 5.6, SR, Ali Longo, PSU transfer (who'll probably make some type of AA in this her final year of collegiate play)
2nd String
Setter: 5.10, FR, Tayler Higgins, VBM Fab 50 MB: 6.4, JR, Stephanie Hagins, WSU transfer OH: 6.3, FR, Nikki Taylor, U.S.Womens Jrs A2 Program/rostered OH: 6.0, 5thYr-SR, Ashley Kastl, ASU transfer OPP: 6.0, SO, Tai Manu-Olevao, 2010 U.S. Girls Youth National Team/USAV High Performance rostered RS3: 6.1, SR, Kaela Goodman, #55 Prepvolleyball.com Senior Ace (who'll probably graduate early--Summer '13--with an English B.A. & thus making her schollie available to another coming into the program; a MB?) Libero: 5.8, JR, Monica Stauber (who'll be forced to move from S2 to Lib2)
OH5: 5.9, JR, Keani Passi, NJCAA MVP w/Champions (@csi) Lelepali and Kam (Sr.'s) will more than likely stick around as well. --- JMac, and the Huskies, haven't seen the last of the Wahine; they'll be back in Seattle again next year (this time in mid-December vs. Dec.1st)

A Trojan fan here but I love UH volleyball. Starting becoming UH fan since the day of Kim Willoughby. Good luck next year! Thanks. UH & USC always good battles. Keep watching cause next season will be the Wahine`s year

Agreed. Taylor Higgins is the real deal. She will definitely contribute if not next year but also in the future for hawaii. she may redshirt next year who knows. Don't know much about Nikki Tayler but she sounds pretty good! 6'4 and ranked #29 on prep volleyball senior aces list! Taylor Higgins is ranked #19 I sometimes speak with Nikki Taylor`s friends mom. Her daughter and Nikki are real close and says that she`s seen Nikki play and is the REAL deal! She says UH Wahine fans will be very pleased. From what I`ve heard I`m getting really excited!

I'm excited that most of Hawaii will come back, but I'm not sure how much growth there is for people.
I hope Dave can find and develop a right side blocker that can play 6 rotations. Dave said he went to the Olympics and learned a lot, but this season his players grew into their positions.
Next season, I hope Dave will work with his team to not be such a pin oriented team. Move Hartong around, give her inside sets, give her some middle sets, continue to use her on the right. Having a right side hitter will be the difference next year. Having a right side hitter that can play 6 rotations giving him two back row options will take the team far next year.
The 2012 season, Hawaii fans didn't have that high expectations.
The 2013 season, Hawaii fans will have high expectations.

No big deal, but since attention to detail is my weakness, Higgins first name is spelled Tayler, and Nikki Taylor was #26 in Senior Aces.

The one exception I can see is getting more sets to the MB and RS as both should significantly improve next year, but that is a matter of the LS getting like 70% of the kills vs like 85%. I only say if because you never know what may happen to that LS position in the offseason, but in all reality Hartong will probably stay on the LS... she is just that good.

Have them invite Hawaii and the Wahine will go. Why wouldn`t they. They probably wouldn`t want to pay the Wahine to go there and then lose at home on top of it. ;D
