Well, from what I was able to see of it, it seemed like a damn good match. Italy win in 5.
Now I will actually have a minor cheering interest in the gold medal final. It's an anti-interest, but that works just as well sometimes. Anything to get those cocky Russians (it's not all of them, but it's also not *just* Spiridonov) to sit down and shut up.

Been watching on www.laola1.tv. Looking forrward to Gold Medal match. Sportsnet will be showing live in Canada. We don't get much by way of VB matches, so for this broadcast to happen is just huge!!

Does anyone have a link to Sunderland's commentary? I'm not gonna be picky but it'd be much preferred to Russian since I can't speak Russian haha.

Unless you can access the World league broadcast, all the local broadcasts will have their commentators.

I'm just happy the pictures are stable this time (they really weren't, at least for me, for the bronze final). English commentary makes it easier, but I can get by without it.

After a 5-0 start, Russia has come storming back to tie 7-all.

14-11 Russia. Brazil only has 1 kill in the first 25 points, and that was by the setter. Might be a time to try out William.

Damn, Russian's transition offenses are really fast nowadays Their floor defense is also really good too (or at least, looks good behind that gigantic block).

If they keep improving what they've done, it's tough for brazil or others to beat them . #GiantBlocks#FastTransition#QuickLibero#manychampions## hahahh...

Sick shot by Lucarelli to save match point, but Russia takes 1st set anyway.
