Are the world league matches being broadcast (in the US)? Not live broadcasting. There will be only delayed videos on NBC sports on wednesday and thursday which is very unpleasant. As for the team, I think that John made a few unpleasant choices. Russell Holmes, for example. I'd rather Daniel McDonnell instead of him. David lee is still a force at middle blocker, probably the best player of last quad on the team. I'm glad he is there but he must keep up the good work because there are a lot of rising talents eyeing his spot. |

Im hoping fromsport.com will air the marches tmr & sat. They aired live the world league matches last year if i remember it right, correct me if im wrong ppl! As for the roster, im anxious to see how they will perform in the first couple matches. Also hoping that Menzel is really a secret weapon for matches against Poland, Brazil. I personally never think Pattak could take the Opp role since he played in 2009, am i expecting too much from seein Stanley won the mvp in 08?? Not really because i looked at other younger players around the world and they show their abilitie to take the spots for the veterans. Holt is def the next middle to replace Homes, no doubt! But John would try out evyerone of course, give them a chance to play and feel the game, also proving that they can showcase their skills in the world stage. Anyway, im very please with the Libero choice for the openning matches!!!  |

And the day has finally arrived, folks. The day that I most wished for. A new team USA full of rising stars is going to hit the stage and begin a new chapter in the history of the US men's volleyball national team, tonight. I am highly strung even now before the match starts. No one else but me, wishes so much the success of this new team. YOU GO, GUYS... GO USAAAAAA...!

brazil beat poland in four pretty easily. i'm really impressed with new 21 year old outside hitter for brazil, lucarelli. he led the team in points. brazil's talent pipeline seems to be endless!
