Game of Thrones (8) Now watching the 8th and final season of this series. I'm sorry for your loss. (There were some good parts, but it was overall very problematic.)

Game of Thrones (s3)
The third episode of the mass battle scene is quite possibly the WORST battle scene I've ever seen in my life. It's at night. Can't see shiite. Even the dragon fights up above.

I am finally up to date with Succession and it was worth my time. The Dublin episode was good. Holly Hunter was very good in her role. The comedy of the son buying the wrong team was very funny. Family is batS&%T crazy and I love it.
Season 3 will be interesting and I look forward to it.

Has anyone watched Umbrella academy or the Order on netflix? Those are the two shows that peaked my interest the most and have debated wether to watch it or not.
Also anyone get past season 2 of the 100? Is it worth continuing. I watched the finale of season 2 and have not started season 3 yet.
There was also this really low budget show called Siberia. It was basically a fictional show about a "gameshow" like survivor where they have to survive in siberia, it was good, and the ending was HUGE twist, but then they canceled it which made me sad.

Umbrella Academy I watched. The premise is interesting, a dark post-modern twist on the superhero genre. And I like the fact who the villian was. However, the episodes spin too slowly and is rather too dull and grim for my liking. So while the idea was interesting, the execution was not good.

A nice twist on the superhero genre, better than the Umbrella Academy (I only finished watching because Robert Sheehan is superb)

The Boys is excellent. The dolphin scene is insanity. I'm trying to figure out how best to describe it and I can't. Maybe if the people who made Dexter made a show about corporate superheroes..?

I agree the dolphin scene is insanity and one of the funniest in the show.
I would like to recommend The Witcher on Netflix. I didn't know it was all based on a book, I've only had limited gaming experience with the series but I really enjoyed the show. It can be a bit confusing at first but everything comes together after a certain point.

True Detective (s3) Just finished it. Really good. The wife thought it was very sloooow, but her problem is that she's not very patient. I drip with patience. It's a blessing and a curse. I think we took three days to finish the fifth episode because she kept falling asleep. LOL! But she eventually came around. Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff, who play the leads, are both fantastic. How did you feel about the first two seasons of True Detective? I seem to be one of the only people who vastly preferred the second season (the noir of the second season is right up my alley, while I didn't particularly care for the supernatural stuff in the first season).

Even the dragon fights up above. which is strategically the best time for an army of undead wights to attack. but it makes for really bad television.
