There's a season 4 of The Expanse? I thought they were done! LOL! I had the same feeling about Ray Donovan (season 4). And then season 5 starts and I'm going "WTF?" Season 4 premiered December 13th of last year. Season 5 was green-lit in July and production began in October of 2019 allegedly. Unsure if they finished before covid-19 happened.

Watching Quiz on AMC. 3 episodes total and the first two have been released. Finale will be on Sunday, June 14th. The first two should be On Demand. Not a bad show so far. British series about the creation of the tv show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and the efforts of some people to scam the show. Based on real events.

Talk about coincidence...
I was listening to an interview of Patrick Stewart on npr. Among other things, he discussed his Shakespearean drama experience and how he thought he was terrible in his youth. He was trying to master the famous soliloquy from Macbeth.1 He struggled with it because he just could not make the "tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,..." work. Then, I watched the final two episodes of Barry (s1) because the DVD was just sitting there and I had forgotten how it ended. And that same scene from Macbeth is performed by Barry's girlfriend.2
And my response was "Holy buttf***!" What are the odds that I'd be experiencing the same scene in two totally different media -- Patrick Stewart's npr interview and episode 7 of Barry (s1) -- back-to-back on the same day? ---
1 The monologue goes like this:

2 Barry plays the messenger who delivers the news that the Queen was dead. Here's the video of that scene: (To fully appreciate this video, you should know that Barry had just killed his friend. He's now mostly thinking about that murder plus how it would affect his friend's (the murder victim's) family.

My daughter and her husband are taking a “we are so sick of our kids” trip, so she flew the grands down to my house. It’s going to be 116 this weekend, so we brought them up to Flagstaff for a couple days.
Last night in the hotel I turned on Cartoon Network for them. Went to the bathroom, soon there’s a knock on the bathroom door. “Grandma, I don’t think we should be watching this.” Evidently, Cartoon Network turns into Adult Swim Network at 9pm. How stupid is that? #grandmafail 😳

Chernobyl (2019) - the miniseries. Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgård, and Emily Watson. Why does Jared Harris always play a character who commits suicide, see, e.g., Mad Men? And Skarsgard always plays some shifty character who somehow turns out to be a not-so-bad-guy-after-all character? Watched the first 2 episodes. So far so good.

And Skarsgard always plays some shifty character who somehow turns out to be a not-so-bad-guy-after-all character? Watched the first 2 episodes. So far so good. May not be completely historically accurate... but a really good series overall

Cute little show on Netflix called Special. About a young adult gay man with cerebral palsy. The creator/writer/actor actually has cerebral palsy. Episodes are only 15 minutes. Adult themes through the lens of a gay guy with CP.

Just started watching Ted Lasso on Apple+. They released the first three episodes and new ones get released each Friday. I like it so far. It's a comedy about a successful D2 football coach who goes over to England to coach a soccer team.

I started rewatching The People vs O.J. Simpson on DVD. I stopped watching it the first time several months ago after one episode because I experienced the entire case from the murders-freeway chase-trial in realtime in real life. This weekend, I changed my mind and decided, why not. I think I could've played the role of O.J. Simpson pretty well. Cuba Gooding Jr. was good but I think I can do better.

Granted I wasn't born when it first aired and it was only many years later that I saw the show but I still loved it.
