I may have been wrong on scholarship count but here is how counted. Assumed 4 juniors on scholarship: Stirvens, Sun, Sweet & Szabo. 4 sophmores: Davis, Hames, Miller & Swartzenbach. 3 freshman: Knuckles, Kubik and Zuhn. That's 11. News report of commitment from Drewnick in 2020. News report of 5 recruits for 2021: Batenhorst, Krause, Orr, Gray & Rodriguez. Not sure if all recruits are scholarship, but things seem pretty full, but could be a transfer before 2021 Miller and Rodriguez are 2/4 scholarships. They can distribute as needed. I have heard Drewnick is also 2/4 but no confirmation. I’ve heard Rodriguez is walking on actually

So back to this thread, any new news on recruits? Anyone in particular that we're going for? Sami Francis? At this point I think she's Stanford bound but I would love to be wrong. What makes you think she’s Stanford bound? It’s pretty much a toss up right now. She ain’t coming to camp for nothing, there’s genuine interest in playing in Lincoln.

If Sami Francis decides on Nebraska, on paper, this 2021 class would appear to be the best recruiting class in Nebraska history. Any of you volleyball followers have similar thoughts? Also, a year or so ago, this 2021 class was talked about nationally with very positive vibes. Some people were thinking it was a developing great class with great depth and great players throughout. Is it still in high esteem compared to past great classes?

Is it still in high esteem compared to past great classes? The class as it currently stands will be the best Husker class in history (as ranked by PrepVB). It has three likely top 10 senior aces who could conceivably be the number one setter and top two pins. Adding Francis would be extra frosting on the cake.

Question for huskerjen. How does multi-sport Gray compare to the other great middles in the class of 2021? Even Rodriguez as a libero? Thanks for any reply.

Question for huskerjen. How does multi-sport Gray compare to the other great middles in the class of 2021? Even Rodriguez as a libero? Thanks for any reply. From seeing Gray quite a bit, I'd put her right behind that Francis, Williams, and Ngozi, group. I'm guessing she'll be ranked between 10-20 in the senior aces and somewhere around the 4th - 6th best middle of 2021. I really like her upside though. She's so quick and fluid on the court. I know Cook asked her if she'd like to try OH in college because she has that ability, but she told him that she prefers middle right now. I haven't seen Lexi as much, but Jasonr has some good tidbits about her and has seen her play a few times. I guess SPRI's coach told Cook he needed to see Lexi in person, so she got one of their personal invites to the dream team camp in '17. After the elite session, Kayla approached Cook wanting to discuss Lexi, but before she even said Lexi's name, Cook interrupted and said, "I know, I'm giving her an offer."

I am under the impression that the performance of kubik, knuckles and Zuhn in their senior hs year improved their recruit rankings and led to all 3 being on the under armour all star teams. Their performance in the all star game was also notable. These were factors in improving the 2019 NE recruiting class rank from 4-6th to 2nd. Any thoughts? I'm just guessing. Excited for fall.GBR!
